My weirdest complement was a wolf whistle while I was walking up Flinders Lane between Elizabeth and Queen Streets. At the time I was 8 months pregnant. The wolf whistle came from a construction site that I had passed. I turned around and the worker got the shock of his life.
My all time favourite was from a taxi station in Spencer St Melbourne.
Hamburger with the lot, no egg, double onions and not being charged for the extra onions.
I purchased a small black bag that held 5 reusable bags from Coles years ago (about $2.50). They have been washed and mended many times. I have even made a few extra that fit into the small bag.
I will not pay $15 for one.
I have a very strict budget and I am saving for a new car. I put away money for yearly bills and savings each fortnight. All is set out on a spreadsheet and calculated to the last cent. Before computers I used an accounting book. It isn't hard when all monies are calculated.
