More breathing room for Aussies as changes to energy prices are underway. Here's what we know so far

Joking right? unfort the trust has gone, why trust what AGL & the likes tell us & especially why trust what the govt tells us? Both have already proved they can't be trusted at all as not much has changed after all the promises - we are all still getting ripped off from every angle from big...

Telco hit with $100 million penalty over deals and questionable sales practices

Sharks everywhere in essential services, Optus isn't alone in this I bet! Rarely do we hear or experience errors in customer's favour & of course it would be acted on immediately if discovered, strange that! I'm sick of hearing about rogue banks, rogue power companies, rogue insurance...

Queensland government announces more than half a billion dollars for homeless services

About time! I'd rather my tax $ go here than housin (& supporting) the 500,000 immigrants per year Albo has been bringing in! People in my town been waiting 10yrs plus for govt housing but we see new immigrants getting priority & going straight into them without waiting- it's a disgrace!

Plenty of sharks around these times, hard to avoid so many attacks on our wallets/finances from every angle! We're all bound to get caught by one or several at some stage unfort! Must say I'm pretty happy with Tango Energy (in Vic) at the moment, but always need to be vigilant & ready to jump...

‘No second chances’: Avoiding retirement money mistakes you can’t undo

‘No second chances’: Avoiding retirement money mistakes you can’t undo

So much info thanks, but when we work it's hard to find time or energy for things like filling out confusing Clink forms, etc only to keep getting ignored by Clink or rejected when you struggle to understand or are not allowed to answer all questions as per their mould (ie now days you cant...

Car insurance prices surge as drivers across states hit with shocking hikes

Good point re it should reduce with age of car tho they won't think this way as they think older cars are not safer! Disgraceful the amount your policy increased, glad you found a better deal!

Commonwealth Seniors Health Card: Are You Missing Out on Cost‑of‑Living Relief?

Thanks, straightforward if you don't have super, but even tho I'm receiving a Trans to Retire pension to top up my wage (working casual), I have no idea how much the income/return is from my super in terms of %pa or $ per yr returned- & even if i did, is the figure required for Clink or card...

Car insurance prices surge as drivers across states hit with shocking hikes

Rogres rip us all off without hesitation, but try making a claim from any of them & see how hard it is! Glad I just drive old bombs & cheaper insurance. RACV have been good (multi policy discount), but Vic govt is the worst at ripping us off at every angle they can - disgusting!

Retired but still working? Here’s what you need to know about how it affects your Age Pension

Well i guess the more of us contributing to the tax system, the more $ to fund govt's ridiculously high & unaffordable immigration stats & over inflated politicians wages & perks (not to mention younger generations sometimes seeming/apparent lack of interest in working the jobs & hours we've...

Lawsuit reveals widespread misconduct at major lender, puts home loans at risk

A bit like supermarkets, utility providers, phone/internet providers & probably many other big business/wealthy companies, politicians, court system, etc! Working class have no hope of getting ahead when there's so many legalised sharks robbing us blind at every opportunity & no one prepared...
