Channel Nine executive producer resigns after THIS inappropriate Logies posts

So true, sadly! These examples/ things said by EP & some others in this age are minuscule compared to what most of us here would've experienced, seen, heard or did ourselves at some stage in our past working lives! What crazy times we live in! At least we weren't under the microscope of...

Economists say Australia’s in recovery—has your wallet caught up yet?

Agree, my grocery bill is still WAY more than it was 6 months ago even & every other bill (utilities, internet, phone, insurances, regos, etc have ALL sky-rocketed in price hikes- but the wages have barely increased (if at all) for most people! How (& why?) can they make such a bs claim...

Super tax breaks face review as government weighs impact on retirement savings

Agree, its them that caused this (mass immigration, etc), not us hard working Aussies, let them foot the bill for a change!

‘The new super tax has been designed to excuse long-serving politicians': And it’s causing outrage

It's disgusting, they need to go asap before any more damage

Landlords say pets destroy homes—tenants say they’re family. Who’s right?

Another reason why I'd never be a landlord (tho I love dogs & own a dog! Landlords seem to have no rights any more

Landlords say pets destroy homes—tenants say they’re family. Who’s right?

My dog has scratched the crap out of the side windows in both my vehicles (tho I think it's the tint that's damaged not the actual glass but still a real pain, & would be costly to fix)- maybe this is the case with this poster too

The government has asked for bold proposals. Maybe it’s time to consider taxing the family home

The government has asked for bold proposals. Maybe it’s time to consider taxing the family home

Ceazy thing is this govt won election on 30% of votes (preference system stinks)! No one wanted them but we are all stuck with them it seems & boy aren't they doing some damage!

The government has asked for bold proposals. Maybe it’s time to consider taxing the family home

Struggling to understand this; does this mean they can tax us annually for simply owning our own home, even if we don't want to rent it or a room in it out (ie deeming that it could POSSIBLY earn a rental income IF we were to rent it out, even if we chose NOT to rent it (or a bedroom in it)...

Seconds before the blaze: Arsonists caught in Penrith attack

Perhaps yer, tho I'm not sure an ebike/escooter hirer would have $800,000 laying around either? And how about decent jail time if fines unaffordable to the crims (junkies/dealers probablycan afford better than common folk too)!
  18. Cheezil

Be honest—would you travel to a town if you couldn’t hire a bike there?

Yer I'm all for safety, but I'm still trying to get my head around the $825,000 fine for non compliance, a business trying to do the right thing, as well as survive & pay bills (& paying taxes, etc) gets harsher penalties than the criminals these times (aggravated burglaries, car thefts...
