Manual car shortage drives up roadwork costs across Australia

Not true, we have a 17ft caravan and we tow it with v6 diesel VW Touareg auto, it is built for towing, automatically adjusts itself as soon as the towing plugs are connected, drives beautifully while towing would not even know there was something behind you.

Manual car shortage drives up roadwork costs across Australia

What did they expect with this lazy generation, one less thing they have to do is change gears. My opinion is everyone should have to learn to drive in a geared car. Sure you can drive an auto after but you should know how to drive, so many young people get in trouble to help because they can't...

You paid fuel tax for decades—here’s what they’re taxing next

People who drive these EV cars should pay a hell of a lot more for the extra pollution they cause, they are at least 2x heavier than a normal car hence leaving more rubber on the roads to be washed into our streams and oceans, hence more road maintenance, not to mention the MASSIVE pollution...

Are you accidentally breaking this $600 road rule? Most Aussie drivers have no idea!

I'm pretty sure the rule is in the Learners Book that you cannot park closer than metre to a Hydrant. Even if there are lines saying it is a parking bay, if a hydrant is there it's no park.

Southern Cross Media Group, think they have made a huge mistake letting Louise go, she was so articulate and just really good at her job, very easily liked. Will be very much missed on our weekend evening news.

She’s 64, brought her own bottle, and refused to sit down—this flight did not end quietly

Aircraft should have a pressurised spot they can go with an idiot like that and throw them off the plane, who cares what happens to them, they have no respect for anyone else. My opinion. I for one am sick of disrespectful people especially on planes, get in their seat jack the seat back as far...

Kinda funny how they call the program fan favourite, if it was it's rating wouldn't be in the toilet and would not be getting cancelled.

Discover how ageism might be affecting your life more than you think – see what others are thinking!

Easier said than done some people look 10 years older and other younger, all in the genes, not really a very nice comment. In Tasmania we get Senior Card at 60 if you don't work or work shorter hours, and why does your husband get a Carer card, is someone not able to look after themselves.

Pet attacks are rising, and councils are drawing the line—here’s what they want done about it

I have always said that it is not the dog that is registered it should be the people who want a dog. People should have to apply for a licence for a dog and a Ranger should come and make sure the property is fit for having a dog, eg fences, kennel, safe area when gates are open so dogs can't get...

It’s never been harder for older and experienced writers—so how did a celebrity with no book land a deal?

It seems now anyone who puts their face in a reality program get to be famous and make a shit ton of money for having NO TALENT at all. People do courses and have Degrees and can't get anywhere it hardly seems fair.
