No dog deserves this—so why are drivers still doing it?

Way back when when dogs weren’t restrained my dog on the back seat was propelled forward on a hard brake and finished up on my knee. Restraint used later

No dog deserves this—so why are drivers still doing it?

I would have noted the number and handed over the photo to the police. The requested a call as to what happened re this. Doesn’t take much to secure the dogs so they might skitter but not get thrown out onto the road

Who should set the speed limit—locals or the law? Frustrated residents swap signs to make their point

I did laugh at the naive expectation that changing the limit would change the idiots behaviour. Speed cameras and heavy fines Thankyou

Should Uber drivers have the right to reject passengers because of weight?

Thanks just confirming the info I knew but not the actual percentage noted. Makes sense though. I eat like a horse and weigh 45k although short and 85 years old , all that good sense flies out of the window in my case, wonder if his in some way as well ?

Can’t disagree with you, my problem is the harshness of the comments , a little kindness wouldn’t go astray either offering alternatives.

Should Uber drivers have the right to reject passengers because of weight?

I did see that but many things contribute to over eating , I know people who eat like birds and can’t drop weight. I on the other hand am naturally ridiculously skinny and it is considered a virtue.

Should Uber drivers have the right to reject passengers because of weight?

Live the life and you can be so cruel. He is who he is and doesn’t deserve a strangers judgement,

Should Uber drivers have the right to reject passengers because of weight?

I hear how this man must feel as he is left like a piece of rubbish on the kerb. I also hear the drivers and the problems that have been noted. I would like to think he could get a little van for people with special needs either weight or equipment and a caring driver who would be there for him.

The ANU is moving to kill the Australian National Dictionary – this is why it matters

My grandchildren love the old slang that came down from my parents and grandparents. Even using it. We as Australians have lost so much , it saved a possibly difficult situation in San Francisco when a group of young teens approached looking quite unfriendly. I took a chance and said g,day...
