'The pastries were the best bang for buck': Customers clamour as fan-favourite product disappears from ALDI shelves

I only ever shopped at Aldi once and I'd never shop there again no matter how much cheaper they were. Being a person with a disability, I still had to hurry up and pack my own bag or move it to a counter behind me. That's difficult to do when you can only use one hand. Turned around and they...

Mould was ruining her mornings—this $0 trick solved her problem

I don't have a shower rail so I hand mine over the shower door and frame and it airs out perfectly. I also hate having a shower and then standing on a cold bath mat

'Please help us': Mysterious disappearance rocks family, calls for support online

I hope they find him soon. It's devastating to see how many go missing every year. Praying for his safe return

Calls grow louder for the government to stop stalling on home care

If they put more money into these packages and get them started, that's less money to go into Albanese's and his mates pockets. I don't trust politicians who get paid more than they're worth by doing less and buying themselves expensive properties

Are ALDI’s Confusing Egg Rules Costing You Money? Here’s What Every Shopper Needs to Know

I get that not all stores put a limit on how many eggs you buy but I don't agree with telling you once you get to the counter. If it's up to the store manager then they should have a sign saying what that limit is. Every other shop I've gone to has signage up so what makes Aldi's stores so special.

Laptop left charging on bed causes house fire in Bendigo

I have never left anything on my bed or chair charging. I didn't realise that they could cause a fire through overheating, my reason was because my dog (who is blind) might walk onto it and accidently knock it onto the floor. I'm glad that the insurance company gave her and her dog somewhere to...

The economy is booming—so why are our bills still climbing?

Unfortunately the money goes in the pockets of the politicians and building homes for illegal immigrants. That has always been a sore point with me. And why the heck do we help out other states when they don't do anything for us

The name game: Parents-to-be are already arguing about their baby's identity. Which side are you on?

I love the name Audrey. It's easy enough to spell and I don't think it's outdated. The first one I can think of is Audrey Hepburn. I prefer the so called old fashioned names to the new ones people are using. Half of them I can't pronounce or spell.

Legendary entertainer Dick Van Dyke cancels event at last minute—What happened?

I've loved watching everything that Dick Van Dyke has performed in. The first one I saw was Mary Poppins the original. Every roll he plays, you can tell he puts in 110% and puts his own twist on the characters he plays. Get well soon

Aussies split over delivery driver's move: 'How are these people still in business?'

Most of my parcels are delivered to our local post office for collection. On the odd occasion they are delivered by Toll and they always make sure it's in a safe place so no-one can see it. Maybe living in a small country town is why the service is so personal and safely done

He lied about having cancer...then took $1.2 million—how did no one catch on sooner?

These fake scammers are making it difficult for genuine sufferers to get any help. I've stopped donating to anyone who says they have a major illness. Unless I know them and the doctor or specialist they've seen, I won't support them. Unfortunately this makes me seem stingy by once bitten, twice shy

Emergency crew responds after Qantas pilot falls ill. What happened?

I'm glad that the pilot was okay. I've never had an issue when flying before but I know I can't go flying anymore but hat's because of personal health issues.

Could standing up for his fiancée ruin a family? The real reason groom uninvites brother from wedding

He gave his brother the chance to apologise and all he did was keep going. His parents are just as bad by not making their son apologise. If the groom wants a life with his future wife, maybe they should get married with just his friends and her family at the wedding. Congratulations to them both

Are you making this shocking sausage sizzle mistake at Bunnings? One woman's story will make you think twice

I rarely get to Bunnings on the day they're having a sausage sizzle as I live so far away. When I have been there I'm glad to say it's always been a beef sausage, I wouldn't want anything else

Think your pay’s safe once it hits your account? Think again!

We're always being told not to click on a link and yet here she was told to do just that. This is what happens when we allow computers to run our accounts. Give me a personal bank branch any day

Farmer fined $398 for helping in drought—now he's fighting back

How else is he expected to get the bales across the road, toss them over his shoulder? They give others a warning first so why not in this instance as well.

How will this change to Australia Post’s stamps impact your wallet? Here’s what the ACCC just approved

I had stopped sending letters because it became too expensive to buy the stamps. The internet is the major hassle because people will now do everything online including sending Birthday wishes, Condolences or just letters because it doesn't cost them anything. Naturally if prices go up there...

Aussie brand sells sugar-free lollies every 2.5 seconds as demand surges nationwide

Can't wait to get to Woolies and hope they have some left. Being a diabetic, I miss lollies and it sounds like now I won't have to.

Big employers treat workers like numbers in shocking new move

I've never applied for work at Bunnings but our local store always has someone at the front of the shop to greet customers both coming in or leaving. Hope that never changes.
