Are families ready to ride 'Australia's wealth tsunami'? Here's why good legacy handover matters

Labor want it all mate, they are about to jack up the GST. They are trying very hard to meet those promises they made at election time. They have just been called out by the Reserve Bank on their promise to build more homes for the multitude of immigrants they have swamped the country with...

What’s in the water? France’s ban could be a wake-up call

I only use demineralised water now in my CPAP machine, I don't have any issue with that. But in Thailand, ?I just buy the bottled water at a supermarket....any supermarket. Thatyy are all the same quality. We are being taken for a ride here in Australia mate. I've never heard of Pure Spring...

Everyday cooking spices could vanish from Aussie shelves–know why

I use it cooking goulash. I'll get some more. My deceased wife never used paprika in her goulash she used to cook. That's why my daughter and I named the dish "Lashgoo". (My deceased wife was a very bad cook....but God bless her, she was a good kid.)

You won’t believe what this Aussie worker discovered in a pile of trash—could you spot such a valuable hidden treasure?

Reminds me of a funny story that happened to my next-door neighbour. He went away for a weekend with his wife and locked his home up accordingly. He had a new machine in his garage that he had purchased a few days before, and was readying for it to be shipped to the Sudan as an agricultural...

What’s in the water? France’s ban could be a wake-up call

We used to drink and use our water on our farm, which was pumped from the nearby creek. It tasted really good. I've never in my life had water since then that tasted as good. Our tap water here in Armidale is full of chlorine and whatever the shovel leaning council put into it. So I went and...

Are families ready to ride 'Australia's wealth tsunami'? Here's why good legacy handover matters

In the days when wills were uncontestable, a will was found to be probably one of the most shortest wills ever to be read. I was a will made by a British soldier before he went to war in France during WW1. All it read was "All to me mum"

Are families ready to ride 'Australia's wealth tsunami'? Here's why good legacy handover matters

I'm with you on that BruceC. It's just another way for the legal buttholes to milk money out of us, a great deal of money. The legal profession thinks it's their right to do that. There was a time when a will was unbreakable, but that has changed over the years. The law treats us that way, and...

    Greek Tortellini Pasta Salad

Nope, not for me. The Feta Cheese would make me push that dish away and just get into the bread roll and vino. Altho, I think it would be quite a tasty dish if there was no Feta on it.

Too much of a good thing? Aussies split on Welcome to Country ceremonies

Yes, it's disgusting what we do for a very lazy and ungrateful people. I'm waiting for the next round of surprises they will shove down our throats, claiming that it's 65,000 years old in an effort to extract more money out of the people who actually work in this country. We have almost given...

He’s 66, sick, and grieving—now they want to evict him

Same here. We were as poor as hell on our rural dirt farm, but all of us 6 kids have worked hard and made it well in life. Never heard of an indigenous family doing the same.
