Could this 23-year-old be Australia's worst driver ever?

Sadly, he is not likely to pay attention to the court order. I expect he will be behind the wheel whenever it suits him, and even causing damage or injury to other people will not be something he will think about while still using any drugs.

Are you unknowingly breaking the law? Find out the little-known driving violations that could get you fined for as high as $533!

I think you will find that the law is keeping up, but getting changes to the Law is not a quick process. Anyway, the use of 'hands-free' phones is legal; it is the distraction of physically using a phone that is the problem. It is also an offence to have your passenger hold the phone while you...

Are you unknowingly breaking the law? Find out the little-known driving violations that could get you fined for as high as $533!

Having any part of your body out of the vehicle is an offence. so, if you lean out of the window, or put your arm out to wave that's where it becomes an offence... why? because there is a potential for injury, and it also implies that both hands are not available for full control of the vehicle...

Outraged mother speaks out after school shows graphic video during sex education class

Parents have the right to withdraw children from aspects that go against their cultural or religious beliefs. BUT, the parent then has the obligation to provide the education in a manner that is appropriate.

Outraged mother speaks out after school shows graphic video during sex education class

STOP your ranting and look at the facts ! it was a simple cartoon video that suggested changes the body experiences in Puberty. This has nothing to do grooming or predatory behaviours. In fact, if a child is informed, they understand what feels normal and what feels wrong. And, the decisions...

Outraged mother speaks out after school shows graphic video during sex education class

I watched the video, and I can see that it was probably chosen for its simplistic cartoon-style. It is Not a "graphic" video. Having said that, I would not use this particular video until at least year 6 and probably in year 7. The content is worrying for parents as they have their own views on...

Find out what this real estate agent did that made their tenant so ANGRY!

The list of demands I received about things I could not do when I moved in was huge, but when I ask for repairs the wait has been nearly a year. So it's a two-way show of goodwill. I will keep the place tidy, but I'm not doing repairs that are part of the building. (plumbing; gutters; paintwork...

Can you answer these 'hard' questions from the Australian citizenship test? Even Kyle and Jackie O couldn't get them all right!

I thought this was straightforward. I scored 10/10. But I grew up in Australia. Any tests such as these are always difficult for people who arrive from different systems and who don't have a strong understanding of English. But, with a little preparation, it should be reasonable to expect at...

Whose face should be on Australia's new $5 note?

As Australia's official currency, I dont agree with using popular people. The image should be either be a person who had a significant role in Australia's history, but that could be contentious. Or, better still, lets just use an image that the entire world associates with this country, and will...

Can you answer these HSC exam questions correctly? Find out if you're smarter than a Year 12 student!

Scored 8/11. What concerns me is that students doing the exam subjects are under pressure to get the year completed but not prepared for the commitment to put in serious study. If people are prepared for a Career they need to show strong knowledge and willingness to learn. So when it is said...

When You work for a company You represent them. The dress code or even the uniform, informs the public, but more importantly other business partners, of the company's expectations. Palace in talks to axe Prince Andrew and Prince Harry as Counsellors of State — reason behind denial of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee medal revealed

When we consider the Counsellors of State, I understand why Princess Anne would step up, and wonder why Prince Edward doesn't get a mention. But, by what reasoning does Camilla suddenly stand to be considered for the roll. She caries out her duties as Prince Charles' wife and represents the...
