Australians outraged: Is this beloved Aussie saying now considered 'tone deaf'? Find out why it's causing a fierce debate!

It's a non-question. The phrase originated, I believe, during the days when sheep and wool carried Australia's economic wealth and wellbeing. Those days are gone. The key features which moulded the Australian myth - a fair go and egalitarianism (for white people) - have long ago evaporated in...

Tech CEO makes shocking move to end fact-checking—‘too much censorship'

Yes. Marketplace especially is full of scams! I don't mean the real people - just the targeted company ads promising cheap genuine products. STAY. AWAY. FROM. THEM!

Tech CEO makes shocking move to end fact-checking—‘too much censorship'

But it's not just ads. [BTW Ad Blocker is rubbish. As you say, it increases the ads, not eradicates them!] Any revelation or information shared on FB has long been suspect and their fact checking never picked up irony or satire.

Tech CEO makes shocking move to end fact-checking—‘too much censorship'

Yes. Their so-called fact checking was, at best, very hit-and-miss!

Tech CEO makes shocking move to end fact-checking—‘too much censorship'

It's crazy. But Zuckerberg, having been diagnosed with a rare brain-rotting disease, has announced he will finally admit he stole the fb idea from his college roommate and pay him 50% of what fb earned, plus interest. Zuck said, "I'll die with a clear conscience. Amen."

Kmart accused of stealing Aussie innovation: 'It’s the most un-Australian thing I’ve ever seen'

I sympathise with Gransbury but wasn't he naïve to leave himself open to abuse? Business is dog-ravage-dog. We're no longer in the 18th Century, where the commander of one army would invite the other army to fire first! And isn't Kmart an American company? #HardLessons #KmartSucks

Press powerhouse (88) and legendary singer (86) passes away—learn about their remarkable legacy

The girl was 14 yrs old. Paedophiles target much younger children. Even so, he transgressed, was caught, served the usual pathetically-inadequate sentence and we know nothing about his.victim or her life sentence ...

Nicole Kidman drops nepotism bombshell on red carpet, sparking conversations!

If anything, Cruise probably harmed her career. She's well rid of him. I think she has actually improved as an actress in recent times but she'll never match Cate. As for Sunday, I haven't seen her work so I can't comment and won't!

‘What is wrong with people?’: Coles reacts to public outrage over controversial images

Debate? What's to debate? Return your flamin trolley to the trolley return. Don't leave it in the parking space, don't walk it home and leave it on the verge, don't dump it in a river or canal. Seriously, it's not hard to be a decent human. That said, some parking precincts don't have enough...

Nicole Kidman drops nepotism bombshell on red carpet, sparking conversations!

I believe her acting has improved considerably more recently. But I agree, her earlier efforts were very wooden indeed.

If the kiddoes have the talent or skill, let them go for it! Yes, it's a special case of it, but we still live in a world where it's who you know, not what you know, which is a centuries-old phenomenon (😉). We've tidied it up more recently by simply calling it "networking."
