The Alphabet Song Will Never Be The Same – Find Out Why The Internet Is Losing Its Mind Over This New Version!

The phrase which gets me at the moment is "I could care less" when they actually mean "I couldn't care less". If you "could care less" means that there is still a level of care about something.

The Alphabet Song Will Never Be The Same – Find Out Why The Internet Is Losing Its Mind Over This New Version!

That is ridiculous. For nearly 200 years we learnt the alphabet as a quadruplet. The division above does not make any sense & I never heard anything so stupid as today's kids are confused by the combinations which survived & taught generations of Aussie kids. This is just change for changes...

‘This will help ease some pressure’: New Centrelink change set to impact pensioners

I promise not to spend my $4.60 all at once. With the increase in the price of electricity right on our doorstep this pittance is an insult to seniors. I am finding that as I grow older I need the heater on more in winter but at the current price of electricity I will probably be sitting...

Does this parking loophole really work? Expert weighs in on the discussion

Not necessarily so. The closest town to me has no notice at the supermarket carpark & when I go to the next city I park in 2 shopping centre car parks & I have never seen any notices in the 20 years I have lived out here.

Does this parking loophole really work? Expert weighs in on the discussion

"When drivers park their vehicles in private car parks, like those of a shopping centre, drivers enter a contract with the private entity that owns the area. This means drivers agree to abide by the car park's terms and conditions." Surely this means that, at the entrance to the carpark, there...

Will international laws affect the way Aussies shop soon? Lecturer shares his thoughts

Trump had started the removal of US troops from Afghanistan then Biden had to finish it in the allotted time frame. No choice but what he did to save his troops from the taliban.

Will international laws affect the way Aussies shop soon? Lecturer shares his thoughts

I have experienced the same problem. I used to buy a lot of craft materials from USA but had to stop because of the cost of postage.

Final instalment of $300 rebate is being distributed—no extensions confirmed

You should have received $75/quarter automatically taken off your bill. Check your bills over the last 3-4 quarters & see if there is that amount taken off. If not, contact your supplier.

'It's unjust': Aussie exposes health service provider through a series of negative experiences

And this govt wants to import more foreign doctors!! I have worked with many immigrant doctors. Most are well educated & practise good medicine. However, I have also had experience of those whose qualifications & practice procedures are really questionable. Once, when I said I would not...

Your grocery shop is about to change—here’s why shoppers are concerned

I agree. The only home brand things I buy are flour & sugar. Their biscuits are awful & usually smaller than the branded ones. Since I have a limited amount to spend on groceries I need to buy things I will eat - not throw away. The most recent thing I have had to go elsewhere to buy other...

Driver 'lost their s***' after finding this parking ticket on their vehicle!

No one is displaying advertising on a vehicle. To display something it would need to be seen & read from a distance by people other than the vehicle's owner. The fake fines are just a piece of paper placed under a windscreen wiper so no problem. Just chill out if you get one & have a good...

Check if you're qualified for this 'critical' cash boost from Centrelink!

What an insult. Now I can buy an extra loaf of bread a fortnight so might get to have a sandwich for lunch every 2nd day to keep within my level of income. I would love to be able to have home & contents insurance but the last renewal I received had increased so much I rang the company to...

Modern technology could put your medical data at risk, legal expert warns

You must have created the My Health Record when they wanted us all to do that. I didn't do it then & I don't do it now & my specialist sends his results still via computer but it is not stored anywhere except his office & my doctor's office.

Famous sport bar faces backlash as fans discover this sneaky menu addition!

If I use my Visa card it is not a credit card - it replaced the old Cash Card & the money comes straight from my savings a/c. They still want to charge me a fee to, basically, use my cash. Not on.
