The phrase which gets me at the moment is "I could care less" when they actually mean "I couldn't care less". If you "could care less" means that there is still a level of care about something.

Eftpos is a debit card i.e. the amount is immediately debited from your bank a/c.

If I use my Visa card it is not a credit card - it replaced the old Cash Card & the money comes straight from my savings a/c. They still want to charge me a fee to, basically, use my cash. Not on.

So what's the difference? You are still usig your card & the business is still being charged the fee from the bank which they can choose to pass on to you.
