Joke The SDC ANZAC Day Dawn Service: Jokes from the Trenches of the ANZACs

I hope you never have to experience war as once you have, you never forget it. I was a child when WW2 broke out and in England and I wish I could forget it.

    Joke Shampoo

An English football fan was visiting Cologne, Germany, made a careful note of the name of the street in which he had parked his car: Einbahnstrasse. When he tried to find his vehicle after the match, however, he was dismayed to discover that virtually every street in the area was called...

'Is that how you maintain the hygiene of the food?': Shocking kitchen incident raises alarms

How else could he clean the vents? He should have waited until the restaurant was closed and put something over the cooktop before standing on it but unless they have some other means of reaching the area which is to be cleaned, I see no alternative.

Can this proposal help seniors amid the housing crisis? Retirement expert weighs in

I need to move to a different neighbourhood because of the destruction of my house by the kids living around here. I have looked at prices of houses in areas which I would feel safer but my house would not bring the amount I need to purchase another. Nor would I be able to rent as rent prices...

    Scrumping with Roy’s ‘Gang’

My brother and I and a couple of friends went scrumping once to collect some Blackcurrants from a field alongside the main road not far from home. We only went once, at least I did, because we heard someone yelling at us to find out what on earth we thought we were doing in his backyard. I...

King Charles returns to public life—but one comment has sparked major concern

I for one, am glad this is not a republic. The reason being although the King is our head of state he does not interfere with us in any way. If we were a republic, judging by the countries that are republics right now, we would have more trouble finding an independant person to be president...

Is your grandchild riding an e-bike? You might want to hear this $700 fine story

We don't even have footpaths of any kind of hard substance. except in the CB, Just grass and that is definitely very uneven. The roads in most areas are even worse. It was definitely a wrong move when local councils were forced to amalgamate a few years ago.

Is your grandchild riding an e-bike? You might want to hear this $700 fine story

In NSW the law does not exist whereby parents of offending children are fined for offences committed by those children. Our local MP brought this up in parliament to change the law where child offenders are concerned but so far no luck in changes being made. The high school children are...
