I applied for Disability but got knocked back & was told I will be put on Jobseeker. I am 65 & have worked since I was 14. I was a Retail Manager but that doesn't count for experience anymore. Would love to work more but no one will hire me with my health problems. I have applied for over 500...

They will get off with a smack on the wrist. All they have to claim is a bad upbringing & a harsh home life. Judges are too lenient.

Aussie town erupts in delight over Centrelink scene: ‘This gets better days out than I do’

Comes to Hobart quite often. The Alpaca is very well behaved, can't say the same for the owner. He gets very abusive if anyone approaches them.

Entertainer and singer Kamahl to appear in court hearing after alleged stalking charges

This woman chased him for money. Invited him back to her place. When he requested payment of the loan she wrote "Molester" down. Slapped him with a restraining order. She knew what she was doing & had no intention of repaying the money. All she wanted was her 15 minutes of fame.

Bring home the wagyu: Man allegedly steals $12,000 worth of meat more than 27 times

Theft is theft. This lowlife is stealing high end meat not for himself but for a profit. We all end up paying for his dishonesty by higher prices. There are places like Foodbanks & the Salvos so there is no excuse for theft. And those that are defending him are probably thieves themselves. I...

Elder couple held at knifepoint at home in $160,000 heist

Upsetting self-checkout mistake at Coles leaves customer ‘humiliated’

Used the Laundramat today as i had blankets to wash. Larger machines & dryers only took card payment. Then they had a small sign saying there was a surcharge to use card payment. Didn't have a choice as there is only one laundamat in the area. Other choice is dry cleaning which is too expensive.

Coles' new 'Smart Gates' allegedly crush shopper: ‘Yes, it hurt’

Getting rid of self serve registers is NOT going to stop shoplifters. Most of them think they are entitled to steal. I see it everyday while working in Retail. They buy their grog & cigarettes & then say they are broke. Seriously.
