Bunnings customer suffers from injury after a sudden, 'excessive' attack

The common excuse is that someone who maims, attacks or kills under the influence of drugs should be treated and pay the same consequences as if the person were not taking any drugs. If they do these things, it is still embedded in their psychology and inner thoughts, but when uninhibited...

Aussies share a 'big worry hanging on our heads' as cost of living continues to rise

Good for you, Yeshiva, for your bravery and strong work ethic. Not many start a heavy workload new job at 75 .

Like the hasty new Citizenships, he organised recently?

Aussies share a 'big worry hanging on our heads' as cost of living continues to rise

I agree, but perhaps those conditions are not deemed as disability by the powers that be. Perhaps he should consider going back until he is heard, ( do they still have lines of people wanting assistance?)and it is essential to have a Specialist's referral. He may have already done that, too.

Aussies share a 'big worry hanging on our heads' as cost of living continues to rise

Agree with this post wholeheartedly. I read it was 2.1 million people entered live here in the past couple of years, as this government considered it as raising the employment level and therefore, encourages more (taxes) spending for a better balance for the economy. Really? Other plans of...

‘Not even for the dog’: ALDI shopper’s mince purchase sparks safety debate

All minced ( and other meats) are treated with a chemical to make it look fresh as ground meat goes grey very quickly. I would add this mince was possibly less treated and had less chemicals!!!!

And their boxed fruit goes rotten within two days . Wake up Aldi

Your grocery shop is about to change—here’s why shoppers are concerned

Whatever we complain about will not really affect large food corporations such as Coles and Woolworths, even Aldi, as we all have to buy food and, in the end, are stuck with what they tell us (ads) what we need as well..

State braces for a 'significant disaster event' hitting their shores

It brings back to mind a long time ago, when two people in first time camping in a borrowed, much-used nylon two-man tent with no fly, two suitcases of books, one of mainly packs of dried food and seeds and a portable typewriter, plus two cranky human bodies ( us) hanging on to all we could in...

This crucial service is at risk—ensure it continues helping those in need

What is this Government doing? Cancelling so many essential services and scratching the barrel to get more dollars. Why not start Taxing a percentage of the income of religious 'businesses' but not proven Charities if proven genuine? The others earn millions for free and know they can avoid tax...

Aussie content creator exposes this restaurant for their 'diabolical' customer service

Also, I am not a fan of quick food deliveries, so many complain ( or just accept) about the quality or other. I cook or eat something simple, even if it is simple and quick..oh, and cheaper!

Aussie content creator exposes this restaurant for their 'diabolical' customer service

That came to my mind too, all named fast food outlets have false advertising with their photos no idea why they display them and then give a different product!!

Man’s $40,000 mistake with ancient trees sends urgent warning you didn’t expect

Same here in some severe garden clearing next door. We consider all newcomers who want to live here should be educated to respect our Australian environment as well as basic customs and lifestyle, not just continue to live as if they were in their home country. Many left violent and crowded...

Man’s $40,000 mistake with ancient trees sends urgent warning you didn’t expect

One who was not informed of our ecology and the need for mangroves was only interested in his views and purposes. Hope the land is also not developed ( on mangrove 'soils'?) in any way since. It will never recover in our time.

'Traumatising': Couple shares chilling experience after their seatmate passed away mid-flight

I consider the staff who were unable to move the poor woman to someplace less obvious, not being able to fit carrying her down the aisle. This is no job for two untrained women anyhow, and I am sure they would have had some instructions on what to do with potential deaths on flights in their...

Residents outraged: Could your neighbourhood be next in disturbing 'maggot invasion'?

It is always the heat of summer when the bins need to have a more regular pick up as the smells and rotting food can be toxic to many. So many are not always packed properly and the overflow is gross.
