If you are a self funded retiree you may be eligible for a Low Income Health Care card. My wife and I are only drawing minimum pensions from our pension funds and qualify for this card which entitles you to concessions on gas and electricity in NSW plus basically the same other benefits of the CSHC

Not completely correct. If lane has dotted lines to the end then you have to give way. If the dotted lines cease some distance before the lane ends then the leading car has right of way - that's in NSW. Other states may have different rules

The truck driver indicated his intention with right hand indicator. An experienced and cautious driver would have shown some courtesy and allowed him to merge into right lane.
