Bring home the wagyu: Man allegedly steals $12,000 worth of meat more than 27 times

The message to the younger generation, is go for it because you won’t have to pay back or be responsible for what you’ve done, and the thickheads of today will praise you. Unbelievable but that’s what is happening all the time in this world of ours.

Tragedy strikes on ANZAC Day: Unknown suspect attacks elderly father in quiet neighbourhood

Gone are the days when neighbours kept an eye on each other. Now, people don’t want to get “ involved” The elderly and I must say, 76 yrs is not that old, we all seem to be of the days where we trusted that no one would enter the home unless invited. Locking of the doors was unheard off...

Pro-cash movement calls for nationwide boycott of Coles and Woolworths

The biggest problem is, Banks are closing in many regional areas, this makes it extremely difficult for those who don’t or can’t drive, shops will close as well, nowhere to get change etc. The Banks run this country, Pollies too gutless to stand up to them.

Pro-cash movement calls for nationwide boycott of Coles and Woolworths

So many want a cashless world, however your comment about Optus, not only stopped people in their tracks but made many angry because they could not buy their daily x 4 coffees. Can’t have it both ways.

Controversial 17-word text from Coles confuses shoppers—find out why!

Two weeks again, I received email from Coles letting me know that my Fly Buy points were going to be deleted unless I contacted them. Considering that the points are low and I rarely use my card, I deleted and blocked so called email details. I did ask on my next shopping venture to Coles and...

This 'sneaky tactic’ by Coles outrages shoppers: ‘They are not making enough money’

I was thinking same, he may have been elderly and only gets to the shops infrequently, may not have much money over once rent and bills paid. It’s so easy to judge when circumstances aren’t two fold. None of us know what goes on in other peoples lives, so yes some empathy may have been...

This 'sneaky tactic’ by Coles outrages shoppers: ‘They are not making enough money’

I would have returned so called meat to shop where I bought it. It’s quite ironic, when one sees the Cole’s ads & Woolworths, I often state to my husband, never seen that shop where we live, being regional it seems that all the rubbish veges and meat are sent to us and not the capital cities. I...

'Card only!': Nandos' new policy puts restaurant in hot grill

I fully agree, had same experience 12 months ago at Cessnock McDonalds. I never go to this fast fat food company, however looking after my niece and nephew and they wished to have it, I could not make head or tail of this ridiculous help yourself screen, absolutely no assistance from the under...

Major bank goes cashless to become 'completely digital'

Banks running the country, when did it become law that cash cannot be used. The reason they want it cashless, making huge profits from the interest on cards. What is our Government doing about this and every other institution doing the same thing, obviously as usual, a big fat nothing. It’s...

'Card only!': Nandos' new policy puts restaurant in hot grill

Vote with your feet. Personally I have never eaten at this chain and definitely wouldn’t even consider now. Cash is still a legal, so it’s their and others that follow this trend, loss. The problem with paying cash now, is down to the fact that younger people cannot do their maths, can’t...

Afterpay debuts 'delay and decide' scheme: Financial flexibility or folly?

I’ve never purchased over $200. So it’s easy to manage. Not a “ often” way of shopping, just a “ sometimes” Stems back from the days when we had to budget to get ahead. 🤣

Afterpay debuts 'delay and decide' scheme: Financial flexibility or folly?

I often use Afterpay, never had any problems as it’s only smaller amounts that come out every week for the month. The key is, make sure there’s enough in your bank account to cover the cost.
