ALDI recalls winter essential over ‘serious injury or death’ risk

It is different. Yours was only 6 recalls, mine was 8😂 I've certainly got no aversion to Aldi. Their self checkout is very good with lots of space to put your shopping after scanning it. 👍

Major Aussie bank cuts 1,500 jobs, pushes cashless future

I went into a local Westpac branch 6 years ago to open an account there. Never had a reason to go in a branch since then. Got their app to do everything on my phone and only use my phone to pay for everything.

Left Behind by Design: How Unfriendly Products and Services Are Failing Older Australians

What on earth was that all about? 🙄 Read a bit and it got too boring. My Dad was 85 and ordering his shopping online. He only used to phone me a few times to help him. Personally I prefer having lots of gadgets to mess about with.

Australians to withdraw massive cash sums in this movement: 'Banks need to give us access'

Er, no. I'm quite capable of waiting a few hours if necessary. There's nothing desperately important I would need to do until the system came back up.

'It's quite funny': Singer talks about her supermarket story making rounds online

Tiktok video so not worth watching🙄 I only use self checkouts. My wife passes me the shopping with the barcode showing so I can scan it quickly and I put the large items towards the back of the shelf, then build up a pile of goods that don't fall over. Very simple and quick. If I left it to my...
