Leaked emails expose how supermarkets profit more while customers ‘get screwed’

I agree, but the trouble is these 2 think they are above the law and basically untouchable - the government enquiry will be interesting. I don't shop at either of them - it just annoys me that they have the gall to carry on business as they do, the greed is something I have trouble comprehending.

Leaked emails expose how supermarkets profit more while customers ‘get screwed’

I already have Ian3005. I can shop at Aldis for half the price of these two greedy corporations.

Leaked emails expose how supermarkets profit more while customers ‘get screwed’

This was in the report on ABC last night, Super Power. Eye opener.

Yes you are correct and it won't stop. All one can do is shop elsewhere if possible and boycott the both of them permanently. People power is probably the only thing we have left.

Leaked emails expose how supermarkets profit more while customers ‘get screwed’

PLEASE WATCH THIS IF YOU CAN: I have just finished watching SUPER POWER shown on ABC Four Corners last night on 19 Feb. This is a documentary all about Coles and Woolworths and how they justify their exorbitant prices for groceries. I found it very interesting to see how the CEO's of Coles and...

Homeowner's nightmare: Popular vacuum combusts, prompting fire hazard warnings

These lithium batteries should be banned as they are a definite fire hazard, you only have to see the number of incidences involving them, lives have been lost and damage has been done but they are still out there in all sorts of devices. When devices are fully charged, take them off charge...

Multi-millionaire changes lives with giveaway worth over $50,000

This is the best news I have read in a long time. What a kind gesture to be able to give out $250 Coles vouchers to people who can really use some help paying for overpriced groceries. I hope other millionaires can follow suit and do the same, which can be another great story - if only.

‘Stay vigilant’: Coles shoppers discover discrepancies in self-serve registers

I have been caught so many times at the checkout with double scanning and being charged more than the advertised price for shopping. Now I pay close attention to the price tags and when I get to the checkout I try to watch the groceries been priced as they go through the checkout to make sure...

    Crimplene dresses

My mum had a few crimplene fashion items in her wardrobe and the big thing was that it didn't need ironing as did everything else back then. The colours were quiet vibrant from memory.

Channel Nine journalist loses $1200 to tricky concert scam: 'I felt sick to the stomach'

I'm still trying to get my head around it, $1200 for a concert ticket?

    Jaffle iron

Yep, had one of these, exactly the same. It was only used when we went camping and I used to put the bread and some baked beans then onto the coals of the open fire til toasted. So delicious! It was our go to for breakky by the fire.

Oh no! I'd forgotten all about crimplene dresses. What a blast from the past - orange was a popular colour.

Channel Nine journalist loses $1200 to tricky concert scam: 'I felt sick to the stomach'

I'm not a fan of Tay Tay but she must have something going for her if she can $1200 for a ticket, good on her. She has sold out concerts and people are paying top dollar to see her (the parents are paying for their kids to go). I would like to see my mother shelling out that much for a ticket...

    Cyclops Tricycle

The kids down the road had the exact same one, they also had the blue scooter to match. I loved playing with their bikes as I didn't have one at the time. They had a good backyard to burn around in.
