Transform Your Home with This Simple Organization Hack – Everyone's Talking About ‘Catch-All’ Trays!

Every home should have one. As a child we had a junk drawer in the kitchen and thats where you would find anything without a place to go. Clutter does my head in and if its broken, cracked or not useful anymore it goes out in the bin. I do have a filing cabinet for "paperwork" as I prefer it...

Rusty - gone but never forgotten.

Thank you Kevin, Luckily I still have Jackies daughter Tiny who just turned 15. Still loves the ball and going for walks. She was so funny the other day, I was pruning the passionfruit vine and she curled up in the planter box with the vine! One day after crabbing, she got inside the crab net...

Rusty - gone but never forgotten.

Sweet little Muffin, such a cute and no doubt a good friend. He looks like a Jack Russell, very similar to my Jackie who passed away 18 months ago, I'm still crying about it as I loved her so much. So sorry for your loss.

Shocking hidden charge found on restaurant receipt: Could you be overpaying?

Yes they are getting really sneaky now, and they don't say anything about it? You have to question everything now - too bad if they don't like it. I'm sick of it and refuse to be one of the "it is what it is" creowd. What it is - is its not good enough and you'll be told so and be reminded to...

Shocking hidden charge found on restaurant receipt: Could you be overpaying?

I am very wary of this practice having been stung at a local pub. I ordered a glass of prosecco and was told it was $9.30, paid by card and noticed on my statement that I had been charged $9.43, 13 cents more and not a word said by the barman. And not one notice about it anywhere, not on the...

What a beautiful boy, so handsome. I had a Jack Russell for 19 years named "Rusty", he was a good dog. Sorry for your loss, its hard to lose someone you love.

    Egret and darter

Great shot! I see a couple of egrets when I walk my dog. They tend to hang out up the road at a gentlemans house and front yard. He said the big one comes in his house and the smaller one is the baby and the big one has been coming for years. He does feed them and has a water bowl out the...

Perfect storage Container For Coffee Satchets

My very favourite "Strong Capuccino" is the only coffee I wake up to every day and I love it. I get 3 boxes when they are on special and have a plastic container which holds 30 to store them in. I forget where I got the container from - I have had it for a long time and it does the job. I do add...

Daughter’s shocking neglect with elderly mum ends with controversial court decision!

Such a very sad story. The daughter should never have been responsible for her mothers welfare, she can barely look after herself and someone must have been aware of her situation with her mother. The grandson must of known what was going on with his grandmother. How horrendous being left on a...

Same here, haven't bothered for many years. I know they are fund raising but they use the cheapest sausages and bread (yuk). No thanks.

    Tablecloths in the ‘70s

These were all the go back in the seventies. Seemed like every household had one or two and all different colours. The material was called seersucker I think and yes no ironing.

    Hecla toaster

For camping trips, Dad made a toast cooker with 3 prongs out of wire. It was like a small pitchfork and fashioned from a single piece of wire. It had a long handle so you could hold it over the coals and flip it over when each side was done. Dad was pretty good at making things out of what he had.
