I nearly always used cash before Covid. Then we were told to use cards. That was understandable at the time. I probably use 50:50 cash to card. I like to have the option to use either.

I hope someone comes up with a way to stop this abhorrent behaviour. It’s always been in the background but the current resurgence mixed with the global hostilities is truly terrifying.

I have been doing ice cream and wine parties for decades. Dessert wines have also been around for a lot longer.

I wasn’t on a plane, but I had an incident at Adelaide Cricket Ground some years back. Middle of summer and 38 degrees, sitting in the member stand when some idiot decided to sit with bare sweaty knees leaning against my shoulders. It only needed one tug of half a dozen leg hairs to shift him.
