Attention, Aussie drivers! Avoid a $556 fine with this little-known road rule

Thank you for your suggestion! I’ll definitely have a look. My car (2007 Aurion Presara) has a screen in it and I only use the reversing camera occasionally as the parking sensors have never worked since I bought it 3 years ago and if I’m in a tight spot. Usually it’s my mirrors, over the...

A Most Elaborate Scam - AFP Impersonation

They probably expected you to click through to your account through the email and that’s how they get you. Some scammers are so advanced that you don’t even need to put any of your information in. You just click the link and it gives them complete access to everything 😡

A Most Elaborate Scam - AFP Impersonation

Yes. Definitely check the sender’s email address! It can usually tell you with all the bizarre letters etc and incorrect addresses that it’s a scam.

Attention, Aussie drivers! Avoid a $556 fine with this little-known road rule

I use my phone for my GPS, as the one installed in my car is outdated (2007) and I can’t afford the $300+ that Toyota wants to charge me to update it. I believe my model is one of the earliest cars to have Bluetooth installed. Probably earlier in fancier cars! It also serves as my music/podcast...

Parking fines spark debate: Are councils cash grabbing with outrageous penalties?

I think you are correct as teachers attend school. Some schools have programs for students who have nobody to look after them.

Parking fines spark debate: Are councils cash grabbing with outrageous penalties?

Parking fines aside, does anyone else find it alarming that he went over his parking limit due to staying at the pub for another PINT?? 🤔

This major caravan blunder sparks call for driver's licence overhaul: ‘It’s scary and very dangerous’

My Aunt and Uncle get their caravan checked before every trip. My Aunt wasn’t confident about towing it at first so she got lessons. Thankfully we have people like them who do the right thing but as usual there are so many people that don’t.

Alert to Aussie drivers: Is increased roadside surveillance putting your privacy at risk?

Definitely don’t buy a Tesla! Apparently they can even disable your car should they choose to do so through the computerised system! 😂

Alert to Aussie drivers: Is increased roadside surveillance putting your privacy at risk?

Why was she holding her phone while driving to take these photos?? There are signs everywhere stating these cameras are in use throughout NSW, as well as warnings about speed cameras. So she can’t state she doesn’t know about them. I have a friend who used his phone whilst driving and I hated...

Bunnings controversy: Customers seek policy change amid pet debate

Oh I’d have loved to be by your side when you replied! And you’re correct, they’re usually the aggressive ones who have a dog for show. My dogs are family. Many people don’t understand why they mean so much to me. I wanted children when I was growing up. It’s pretty much all I wanted, was to be...

Bunnings controversy: Customers seek policy change amid pet debate

If my dogs (I had small senior dogs, who couldn't be left home alone due to health issues) needed to be put in a trolley, I would put a box and then their blanket in it. I also carrying sanitizing wipes to wipe trolleys after use. It may be a hardware store and things aren't as immaculate as...

Bunnings controversy: Customers seek policy change amid pet debate

While I agree the store needs to be kept clean for everyone, as a dog mum I would be extremely embarrassed it someone else had to clean up after my dogs! People who own pets need to do better. If the pet isn't trained, don't take them into the store. One of my girls doesn't have outing...
