Woolworths abandons plans to produce all paper bags in Australia

Me too. I have never - not one single time - bought a bag from the supermarket. I made my own singlet bags from nylon and I have a selection of the "green" bags that I've been given as "sample" bags etc. Its not rocket science to know you are going grocery shopping and take your bags with you...

Absolutely - all of those boxes could be used. Bunnings has a stack of them. I often get a box because I need a box for some reason.

I have had one order delivered and I'm thrilled with my purchases. It was promised on April 18 and I got it that day. All the items were of a quality above or what I was expecting. I had previously purchased a crystal sun catcher for $27 and bought the same one on Temu for $2.98. I was not...

Waaaaay back when I was a kid we had a corner store where mum could buy the basics. We only had one car which dad took to work so it was a grocery shop fortnightly? or a bus to town. If we needed anything more than basic there was another shop a far greater walk away. The carrot for me was an...

Experts push for food-labelling changes to spur healthier choices among Australians

Seriously, the only way, in my thoughts, that would help in any way would be to make healthy food cheaper and junk food more expensive. At the moment it is the other way around. The "no added sugar", "less fat", organic etc are for the rich not the pensioners.
