Lavish $500K Lamborghini lifestyle shatters cost-of-living liberal candidate's image

I wonder how big the inheritances they received to start them off were. As for her car she'd better not hit anything, it would probably fall apart, not dent. I wonder if they employ drivers.

'She was the light that lifted so many survivors': Tributes pour for the passing of Virginia Giuffre

To me the phrase "Not until I see my babies one last time" indicates she is going to die soon. Did she see the bus as "a way out"? Imagine who the bus driver must feel if it was caused by her action; also the bus driver's family, especially if the driver is publicly named at all.

Prior to moving I lived near the River Torrens. Some ducks used to cross 2 busy roads every year to nest in a church garden, then go back with their tiny ducklings across the roads again. One morning Friend of ours spotted them so stopped and put his hazard lights, a car coming the opposite...

Truckers Everywhere Are Applauding This Caravan Driver's Unexpected Move on the Highway – Find Out Why!

LargeTrucks have "governors" that restrict their maximum to 100km per hour. If they are going laster than that they have been tampered with. Having said that I know a driver who bought a prime-mover second hand. Driving in it for the very first time in a country area he suddenly realised he was...

'It's quite funny': Singer talks about her supermarket story making rounds online

We've noticed some of the guys on check-outs pack the groceries better than the girls do. We congratulated one once. He said he went shopping with his Mum and watched how she packed hers. This was a long time before self-serve checkouts were introduced. You're not supposed to put non-food items...

Shocking Discovery: A Road Sign Uncovers the Unsettling History of a Beloved Tourist Hotspot

A lot of people, not only young drivers, think it's fun to bounce over speed humps. We have speed humps in the area where I live and hasn't slowed down a lot of vehicles....Also emergency vehicles like ambulances they are a curse. They are virtually a small truck chassis and you feel every...

Are you feeding these feathered backyard visitors? Here's why you should not do it

I think this be promoted in all the media - TV, Radio, digital and printed media. Maybe a wildlife group could approach shopping centres and put notices on their community notice boards

Thousands of customers locked out of their banking accounts: 'How are they down so often?'

Some companies if national are connected to one huge computer system. If one state goes down it affects the whole of Aust. I have experienced that at a company I worked for on a few occasions. It was happening in the 1990s. It may have been happening before that.

Council parking law change to impact caravan and boat owners

They could pay to put them in a secure storage place. A lot they are actually undercover in huge buildings. They should be allowed to park a caravan at home on the street for long enough to load and unload them.

Boos spark outrage during welcome to country at dawn service

Those who fought in WW11 are also remembered and honoured at Anzac Day services. There are no services held on Rememberance Day. A lot of Indigenous people enlisted as soldiers during WW11. Apparently a lot went to New Guinea and were involved in the alert that Japanese planes were heading...

Sea Change or Sunk Cost? The Real Story of Retiring on a Cruise Ship

Aging at home didn't exist many years ago. I'm not sure how many years Retirement Villages have existed. These days most have plenty of activites. That has not always been the case. Some have what is known as Assisted Living which includes meals, cleaning and bed changed etc. Not all have...

79-year-old man seriously injured in shocking incident outside polling booth–what happened?

While I will never condone violence it seems the 17 y.o. was protecting the lady volunteer. Maybe he don't know his own strength. This is one time I think that should be taken into consideration when the 17 y.o. appears in court.

The verdict is in! The fall of a cricket legend leaves many divided

That is so true. I know a guy who was hit in the face with a stiletto heeled shoe. I didn't just leave a big bruise either. It caused nasty cuts and scratches too.
