Something doesn't add up. How many people can afford to save $20,000 in two years? If so, why will it take so long to repay the money? Everybody knows that if payments are made in error, they have to be paid back regardless of who made the payments and that applies not only Centrelink...

Keep it and tell her you will teach her to crochet! That way she may realise the amount of work and effort put into it.

I actually love the look - so tropical and sensible. Plenty of beach for everyone if people bothered to walk a little way. Safer than beach umbrellas too which are known to take off in the wind.

Looking closely at photo I think it is somebody else's legs and arm - somebody across the driver's lap!! Doing what??? The mind boggles......

Personally I think the bride is too full of self-importance and had I been told what colour to wear, would have declined the invitation on principle. A wedding is of great significance and a celebration, not a "play" where "we all dress up in costume". The sister would have been better not to...

How that be called a "Scam" when he made a conscious decision to send money despite warning flags and even after finding out the photo was a fake. Sorry but a very foolish man with only himself to blame.

In the UK they used to select a customer at random as they left and rescanned all the purchases. If any discrepancy you were "watched" in future and next time barred. It was humiliating for the random customer who was selected. Maybe that is why they discontinued them.

They had similar in the UK over 20 years ago. When I returned for a visit the folowing year, they had done away with them. It was a nightmare

It seems odd that the daughter was with the mother when the money was handed over yet didn't query it then. So why should the bank query it when she was there too. More to it than meets the eye for sure.
