    The original Internet?

Yes, I remember Adventure Island, but not Magic Circle. Loved Clown and Miser Meanie and Fester Fumble. I recall watching it after school. My neighbour and I sent something to the show...perhaps a letter and it was read out on TV. Great old funny show for kids back in the day!

    ‘Home Ec’

I remember home ec in 1976. I recall making cheese flavoured scones, but the girls hardly were able eat the scones, as the boys in home ec practically ate all of them! I believe some boys only took home ec class to try and chat up the girls! Fun times learning to cook.

Me with my cousins then (1963) and now (2022)

Climbing trees was always fun back in the day. As a young girl, I loved climbing up to rescue a poor cat who was chased by my sisters dog when she moved back home with the family. Going up was easy, but coming down was difficult. I would always yell "Mum!" and hope she woul hear me! Lovely photo...

Hello everyone, My memories are the school games we played.

I also have fond memories of playing games at school. Skipping to the ditty of "apple tart tell me the name of your sweetheart". I also remember oranges and lemons, tiggy and red rover, and dog and bone! High school I was also too shy to sit and chat, but enjoyed listening to the others. I did...

    Smarties

Yes, I have fond memories of sharing a box of smarties with a friend. I recall a lovely man who owned a corner store would give me free smarties...just had to look at him with my big brown eyes and he would give me treats! Red ones were my fave for some reason, but red is my fave colour. Lovely...

Vanilla slices made with real Creme Patisserie. Light and luscious French custard not the heavy yellow fake custard that you see at most places.

Oh yes, LOVE vanilla slice! The best ever vanilla slice I have tried was during a holiday to Tassie. Lovely little town of Ross....delicious!

    Soft Drink Delivery Trucks

Creaming soda was my fave. My parents always purchased a crate of softdrinks for Christmas. I recall trying to steal a bottle, as I could not resist it as a little girl! Dad kept the bottles in his garage. I was caught out several times, when he would hear the sound of the garage door. I decided...

    Tin clickers

I certainly remember playing with tin clickers! I recall frogs and beetles. I believe they came in show bags and Christmas stockings. They don't make Christmas stockings like they used to. When I was a little girl they were filled with lots of fun toys, a doll included and a comic! I always...
