    The term BRITISH was dropped from the name in 1949 according to The London Declaration (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Declaration) It is now The Commonwealth of Nations. I think there are about 56 member nations and only about 17 of those have the Union Jack included in their flag.
