It's frustrating to have to wait in long lines when very few checkouts are open! Why have so many and not have them open? Even so, I will not use an unmanned checkout just out of principle!

I don't want to see self serve checkouts at my ALDI! I hate them. Self serve checkouts give me a feeling feeling of being ignored by the staff.

My husband and I are disability pensioners, and we shop at Aldi because we can do our weekly shopping and get good value for our money. Our favourite Aldi products are the Hillcrest Oat Bars, and Muesli Bars, Teaburst Peach Tea, and Sweet Valley Pink Lady Apple slices.

My memories of growing up out of town in the 1960's were many! We enjoyed walks in the bush, picking wildflowers, mushrooming in Autumn, blackberrying in Summer, watching out for snakes! Catching tadpoles in the dam, hoping we'd see them turn into frogs! Lots of things other children never got...

In the 1960's, my mum would buy a side of lamb for just over a pound ($2). The butcher cut it up into chops, roast etc. It was enough to last us a fortnight, til our next shopping trip. It was the cheapest meat! Can't believe how expensive it is now!
