The Coles I use has one manned checkout on Saturday morning and 2 staff helping on the self checkouts. I find it really annoying. I have seen a number of agitated senior citizens who have used the self serve because of the lack of manned ones, but then have trouble. I wait for the manned one...

I get a paper receipt from chemist warehouse. I live in Western Australia. Some of the items I buy are $20 cheaper than other chemists (ie. Telfast 70 tablest.)

The first "Hi mom" I received was when my daughter was in hospital so knew it wasn't real. I then received at least 5 more. The best was when I received a "Hi Dad"!! Have had all sorts of other scam texts. Sigh.

The few times I have seen a disproportionate price at the supermarket, I have queried one of the staff. If it is wrong I get a heart felt "thank you" and the sign is taken down and replaced. Maybe some of your readers should do the same, instead of posting on the internet.
