According to the news bulletin last night, they were told to put their seatbelts on. This idiot adult chose not to & the parents/carers of the child did not put the seatbelt on the child or tell them to if they were old enough to do as they are told. No sympathy for the adult, some for the child.

That's why they should have had travel insurance. The rule of thumb is never, ever travel overseas without taking out travel insurance covering both travel & health.

There was nothing in the post about this surcharge being for using a card. It was the size of the drink bottle you bought. Another simple solution - buy 2 x 500ml bottles instead of a 1 litre. Same amount of drink without the surcharge.
