'This political correctness nonsense is out of control’: said the MP about the gender-neutral holiday treat name change

I rather like "Gingerbread 57 varieties". That should please BJ, oops I mean Barnaby. He likes a bit of variety.

Is $15 too steep for a reusable bag? Coles shoppers have their say

Don't want to pay $15 for it? Walk on bye. No different to 'scrolling past' anything you don't like on social media.

'This political correctness nonsense is out of control’: said the MP about the gender-neutral holiday treat name change

Well it did p* ss off Barnaby Joyce, so I'm calling that a win as he offends so many.

Shoppers outraged: BIG W's latest in-store feature sparks major backlash—find out why!

How, on this little green earth, is a parent or grandparent, supposed to have enough hands to use a smart phone whilst controlling children and handling the items they wish to 'price check'?

Aussies take bold action against menace threatening homes and lands

In our area we often see "fox baiting" signs, warning people to keep their dogs away. This bloke should be given an award, not harassed by online warriors. Surely a quick death to the bloody foxes is better than it being poisoned. Sounds to me like he's working ethically, even after death. Hats...

'Do I need a reason?': One restaurant's policy draws flak among Aussie food enthusiasts

Since the minimum wage in Australia is more than 3 times that of the US, I fail to see why tipping is being introduced at all. Surely the staff wages are taken into consideration when the meals/product is being made/produced? Tipping should be entirely up to the customer.

Why are trees turning blue all over the country? The reason behind this trend will surprise you

I have seen blue trees and was able to make a reasonable assumption on what they symbolised. However, in the past I have also seen dead trees painted yellow and could never find out why. Does anyone know? Or was that a previous generation's practical joke?

Popular Aussie retailer to close 160 stores—are you ready to say goodbye?

I won't miss anything about any of the Mosaic brand closures. They made their money by exploiting 'sweat-shop' labour, some of it forced.

‘This is a joke’: Grandmother slams $1,209 fine for road rule breach, cuts back Christmas spending

Safest way to avoid the fine is to leave the phone inside the handbag and put the handbag completely separate from your body.

Report calls on overhaul of current superannuation system with simpler tax rules

I wonder what impact the changes would have on 'grey nomads' who might want to withdraw to fund their travels.

Driver faces $671 in fines after state rolls out latest licence changes

Why would anyone in Australia need to drive an ultra high powered vehicle, when the maximum speed anywhere in Australia is 110 km an hour?

    THEY ARE THE WALKER GANG?

Isn't this a bit insensitive, especially with the timing. Clare's police killer was only found guilty in the past fortnight.

Controversy over Coles' use of 'Bovaer' in beef—what to know before your next meat purchase!

Australia is usually behind the majority of developed nations when it comes to banning dangerous products. Eventually we do conform, but not until people overseas form class action cases to get something done. There's also no need for personal nastiness.
