Happened to me on a trip to London. I received full reimbursement without mych hassle over there and nought a new suitcase in London. But I didn't travel Qantas. I try to avoid them and prefer Singapore.

I've waited around 1.5 hours more times than I can remember. 20 mins would be a bonus. Plus, I've ended up several times with someone who couldn't help me (inexperienced? Lack of training?) and had to to be transferred and start the whole waiting game again! Centrelink is horrendous.

Unfortunately, I have discovered that the Retail and Hospitality industries are appalling when it comes to staff treatment. The practices they employ have obviously been going on for years.

Good grief! Easy answer is for supermarkets to just go back to the old paper bags we got back in pre 90s. No handles. Oroblem solved. You just picked them up in your arms, put them in your trolley (or not if you only had a couple) and took them to the car. Why carry paper bags using handles...

Oh. That's not unusual. You can spend days, weeks and months on the phone tith the telcos trying to get things fixed, amended, or whatever. They are the most inept pathetic businesses out there a dreadful experience if you have to deal with them.
