Federal government report says online gambling ads should be axed for good

There are too many gambling ads. TV advertising should be banned as well.

Are you being watched at the checkout? Shoppers raise the alarm over new Woolworths camera scare

I like to shop at Woolworths and have no trouble with their camera technology. They are one of the few companies who care about their customers. They must take measures against those trying to rob them and I support such measures. You woud only complain if you are doing something wrong. John

Fed up with high living costs? Aussies blame greed and consider protest: 'I'm all for it!'

The people voted for high priced unreliable energy, destruction of the economy and government for the trade unions not the people. The chickens are coming home to roost.

‘Inconsiderate’: See how this Ford ute driver claimed four parking spaces at once!

If people want large utes and are prepared to pay for them then they should be allowed to have them. Many car parks have ridiculously small car parks and I have problems parking my Chrysler 300. Many drivers of small cars cannot drive or park in spaces. The appalling standard of driving needs to...

Is a national gun register on the horizon? Here’s Anthony Albanese's take on John Howard's reform legacy

There are too many guns out there. Before a gun licence is granted a person should state a compelling reason why they should have a gun. Hunting is not a compelling reason. I cannot think why any city dweller should have a gun.

Woolworths abandons plans to produce all paper bags in Australia

Spot on. I received my order yesterday mostly in paper bags with the one with the milk splitting and the milk falling on the floor and splitting open. These bags are useless, now to get rid of them and buy plastic garbage bags. No plastic saved and a lot of paper wasted. Unbelievably stupid. John

'Forced shakedown' at Woolworths checkout has shoppers outraged

I do not mind being asked to make a small donation and always do. It is strictly optional. I am a pensioner so I cannot afford to donate much but theses small donations are fine. Those who object must be extremely lazy if the cannot push the 'no' button. They are also extremely mean. I think...

Passenger calls out parents of an unruly child on flight

Unfortunately many parents do not control their children and do not care what they do. They must be held accountable. I am 68, when I was a child I could be taken anywhere, how times have changed.

Passenger calls out parents of an unruly child on flight

Unfortunately many parents do not supervise their children. They must be held accountable in all situations. I always knew how to behave as a chid and could be taken anywhere. How times have changed.

Experts suggest reducing speed limits for popular SUV and ute models like Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux

There is no climate crisis! Only morons talk about carbon emissions, carbon footprint. Do these morons think they are leaving lumps of coal behind? Another contribution to the great climate change scam. John

Shoppers Sound Off on Woolworths' ‘Serious Problem’ - Sustainable Solution or Flimsy Disaster?

The paper bags are expensive and quite unsuitable as they rip. The plastic bags were good for garbage. Will have to buy garbage bags. The whole 'single use' plastic bag campaign is an absolute hoax and shows how stupid people are.

Kochie and Nat confront the NSW top cop over the controversial tasering incident caught on bodycam!

It appears that there are guidelines to not use tasers on the elderly. Why was a taser used in this instance? How does the commissioner possibly justify not viewing the video footage? Is the commissioner up to the job? It is not acceptable to say that more training is required, common sense is...

You break it, you buy it? Mother refuses to pay $200 for Chanel perfume her child smashed!

Children should know how to behave. If they cannot they should not be taken out. Parents do not train their children or take responsibility for them, I always knew how to behave and could be taken anywhere, unfortunatey today that is not the norm. John.
