Aldi shopper complains about Aldi’s trolley return system

I purchased a trolley token from ebay. It is longer and easier to use than one of those small tokens and is removed once the trolley is released. It fits Coles trolleys as well. (I don't know about Woolies as I don't shop there.) I still return the trolley to the trolley bay but if there are...

Everything you need to know to receive the $250 one-off cash payment for pensioners

Have you contacted Centrelink and asked if you are eligible for a top-up to your super payment? Someone I know was getting super but they also get a part pension. They are not an age pensioner.

Pensioners reflect on the rising cost of living in Australia, urge government to prioritise the welfare of seniors in the country

Politicians are not my favourite people. However I think its unjust to say they do nothing. Their working hours are ridiculous and if you notice politicians often age very quickly when they are in office. Further to that I would say that most go into politics thinking they can do some good...

Australia cuts beer tax in the upcoming budget as government aims to boost economy in hospitality sector

It shows the calibre of the people we vote in. Or perhaps people with family values don't go into politics?

ALDI customer gets scrutinised on social media after lashing out at “rude” staff for not opening a checkout just for her, gets called “entitled”

Aldi is not my favourite store, but when I go there I always find the staff friendly and they are very quick at putting items through the register. If I have only one or two items the person in front of me usually offers to let me go first, as I offer to other shoppers. Perhaps it depends on...

Great-grandmother’s secret to dealing with fussy toddlers: Doctor approved!

Our youngest daughter also threw a tantrum once, on the floor of the pharmacy at the Children's hospital. I just walked away and she got up and followed me out. I think other parents thought I was being nasty to a sick child, but she was not the ill one.
