Over the last 18 months I have read the whole Dr Kay Scarpetta series by Patricia Cornwell and loved them. There are 25 books, with number 26 due late 2022. I miss the main characters now that I’ve finished the series 🙁

You wouldn’t believe what goes on in charity stores !!! We used to mark down items with a red pen ... until a customer was found with her own red pen doing her own mark downs, of course on the more expensive items. We then had to use a unique stamp on our tags in addition to the red pen.

The charity store is definitely not to blame!!! Having worked in one I know from experience that customers swap price tags or remove tags in the hope of taking the item to the counter and getting a cheaper price. So it doesn’t surprise me that someone dumped the contents and made like it was on...
