The surprising but IMPORTANT reason why pen lids have a tiny hole – ‘I had no idea!’

Just goes to show these safety measures aren’t just for toddlers 😊😊. And, no there’s not much difference between toddlers and teenagers … can probably put aging men into that category too 😆😆

The surprising but IMPORTANT reason why pen lids have a tiny hole – ‘I had no idea!’

Im one of the reasons for these holes, they weren’t around in 1976 but fortunately my brother put his hand down my throat and dislodged the pen lid I had swallowed. I was 15 and lounging in mums bed watching tv (no kids had tv in their own room in 1976), writing down jokes from the Don Lane...

Shoppers are upset over this 'dangerous' find in a Coles aisle: 'Do better'

And I hope you never had to shop there again. How terribly you were treated 😞

Shoppers are upset over this 'dangerous' find in a Coles aisle: 'Do better'

That’s good but wouldn’t it be easier to have a trolley to put the boxes straight into instead of dropping them on the floor. They then become a hazard for the employees

Shoppers are upset over this 'dangerous' find in a Coles aisle: 'Do better'

A problem I have found at Woolworths (but certainly not to this degree). A lot of items now are stacked on the shelves still in the boxes with the front and tops cut off for access (faster stacking means cheaper stacking). So when the boxes are empty and a customer goes for the box behind some...

Dietitian shares differences between Sydney and Adelaide living - do you agree?

Unfortunately for shop workers to state government have just changed the rules so shops will be opening earlier on sundays - there goes the sleep ins for shop workers. Personally, I am happy for eastern staters to bag Adelaide as much as they like because I LOVE it the way it is and can’t...

From next week, say goodbye to plastic straws and bags! Australia just BANNED all single-use plastic

Maybe the compostable bags that you can now get for fruit and veg will work for meat and then they can go straight to your green waste bin ? Or back to the good old days of just butchers paper.

From next week, say goodbye to plastic straws and bags! Australia just BANNED all single-use plastic

Oh they will. It’s why they have developed the paper stemmed ones. Give them a try 😉

From next week, say goodbye to plastic straws and bags! Australia just BANNED all single-use plastic

This is not new to South Australians. SA banned these single use plastics in March 2021 and in March 2022 banned polystyrene containers. It was 2009 when SA banned single use plastic bags!!! I’m really surprised and disappointed it’s taken so long for this to be Australia wide. Little ol’ SA...

From next week, say goodbye to plastic straws and bags! Australia just BANNED all single-use plastic

Cotton buds are now available with paper stems. They are a little bendy but just hold them a bit closer to the tip and they work just as well as the old type.

How often should you be replacing household items? Find out here!

😆😆my sister has had hers for the same length of time as you and heart attack, quadruple bypass, diabetes and circulation issues had her thinking the same as you. I’ve only had my current model for 18 years and he’s still going 👍😆😆

Former Magnum food scientist incorrectly identifies dupe after a blind taste test — Is this the best-tasting budget ice cream?

I don’t shop at Aldi but if you are a lover of Drumstick and boysenberry ice cream give the Woolworths brand a try. They are amazing 🤩 and only $3.90 for a pack of 4. Admittedly they are a bit smaller than the Peters Drumstick but that makes them healthier, right ? 😆😆😆

Snickers manufacturing moves back to Australia – with one unwelcome difference

Australia can’t produce the same value goods because of the wages we pay our workers. There is no way that Australian companies would get away with paying the same wages China pay. So if we want to keep manufacturing in Australia and Australians in decently paid jobs we have to suck it up and...

From bad to worse: Hilariously awkward holiday photos that will make you question your travel plans

The stingray is actually being held up by a local tour guide - you can see his hair just behind the women. I did this in the Cayman Islands and was anxious but clearly not as terrified as these ladies - they tell you they are going to do it. Pity was that my partner didn’t get a good pic from...
