Over 215,000 households eligible for financial support as minister urges everyone to apply

No, WA is, lol. We have great concessions, much better than SA.

Over 215,000 households eligible for financial support as minister urges everyone to apply

These types of concessions are paid by State Governments, not Federal, and therefore differ from State to State. WA and Qld appear to be the most generous, other States not as much, but all States seem to have some concessions. Glad I live in good old WA.

Over 215,000 households eligible for financial support as minister urges everyone to apply

So many people seem to be unaware that there are even concessions available. As I've stated before WA has very generous concessions, but most states have some concessions. Just google Pensioner Concessions for whichever state you live in to see what you may be eligible to receive.

Over 215,000 households eligible for financial support as minister urges everyone to apply

I don't think they said they were new, just that many people didn't seem to know they could apply. I lived in SA about eight years ago and they had only one cost of living concession, but nothing like rates, water, rego etc. It was a shock to the system as I was used to the generous concessions...

Over 215,000 households eligible for financial support as minister urges everyone to apply

Same thing here in WA. Eastern states investors flooding the market, pushing prices so high that young people, permanent residents, can't get a foothold. It's hard to even be able to put an offer on a property as agents put houses up for "online auction" and properties are selling for...

Over 215,000 households eligible for financial support as minister urges everyone to apply

Your welcome. At least SA are finally coming to the party. I've lived in Victor Harbour and also Murray Bridge in the past, they never had any concessions then. I don't think any state has as many as WA.

Over 215,000 households eligible for financial support as minister urges everyone to apply

Again, these are not Centrelink concessions they are State Govt concessions. Google Pensioner Concessions for NSW to find out what concessions are available in NSW,

Class lawsuit claims supermarkets misled customers on discounts, shoppers act

Their website says: To register interest - gather your evidence and then register with GMP Law. If you have a Rewards Card they are attempting to discover Time and Date of Purchase, Pricing Information, Discounts Otherwise Gather receipts for discounted products as proof of purchase

Class lawsuit claims supermarkets misled customers on discounts, shoppers act

Of course they will want proof, but from googling information apparently your Rewards Card will do.

Class lawsuit claims supermarkets misled customers on discounts, shoppers act

I couldn't imagine however that they will be willing to hand that information over and incriminate themselves, and they wouldn't be keeping that information still from back in 2022/23, they are only interested in what you are currently purchasing.

Class lawsuit claims supermarkets misled customers on discounts, shoppers act

Yes, they obviously aren't going to pay out on someone's say so. Receipts will be required and who would have these receipts from that time period. I do believe if you have a loyalty card from Woolworths that will suffice.

Over 215,000 households eligible for financial support as minister urges everyone to apply

Just type in or ask Suri/Alexa for concessions for whichever state you are in.e.g. Pensioner concessions for (whichever state) and they will pop up. They aren't Centrelink concessions, they're state government concessions and each state is different. If you have any difficulty come back to me...

Over 215,000 households eligible for financial support as minister urges everyone to apply

Google pensioner concessions for NSW. I think you can get a concession on car rego and a small concession on council rates if you have your own home. Query with your electricity provider if they provide a concession.

Over 215,000 households eligible for financial support as minister urges everyone to apply

Yes they do. At least here in WA they do. My daughter gets all the same concessions as me, except the drivers licence is only for age pension, but she doesn't drive.
