    Thanks for the suggestion, that is my thought all so, however I can only move the screw a quarter of a turn anti-clock wise, I can not push the screw down or lift it up. Looks like I have to call in a plumber!

    Thank you for your suggestion, unfortunately the toilet it is a completely sealed unit from floor to tank with potentially only a single fixing point in between the two hinges for the opening/closing of the seat and lid, see photo. regards Davida

    Membership and question Hi everyone just joined and have a question for any Plumbers out there. How do I remove/replace a toilet seat with what appears to be only one fixture point, see photo attached. Appreciate any suggestions, regards Davida
