I feel for this lady, but as you point out, we are constantly warned about scams and how not to click on links etc. We didn't grow up with computers and appear to be easy targets. Unfortunately scams will continue because there seems to be an endless supply of victims.

I have no problem being rude to scammers, once you ask them a few questions they come undone very quickly. Not much you can do about scammers. They have always been around but modern technology has made it very easy for them.

No one can force you to do anything, we all have choice. I never answer numbers I don't recognise. If the call is important, a message will be left.

Yes, that is fun. I was out at lunch, walked past a poker machine. Wouldn’t know the first thing about them. I put in 5cents change from my lunch. I won $50! I quickly put it away and bought myself a new outfit!🤗

While people fail to do their own research and contact companies themselves to check everything out, get a lawyer to look over things if they are that serious about investing and don't fully understand what is involved, then scammers will continue.

Why greedy? they wanted a good interest rate for their deposit, as would anyone. The problem is that they didn't contact the company directly. Envy seems to be a favourite pass time with so many people these days.

I never spend more than I need. My points accumulate quickly. There are always negative people who whinge, moan and groan about everything. Let them wallow in their misery. Enjoy your points. I certainly love mine.
