I shop at Aldi all the time and hardly ever need to go to the other supermarkets. Every week I buy their full cream milk, light rye bread, hommus, natural Greek yogurt and 2 kg of chicken drumsticks for $7:49. I never buy any foodstuffs from china! You never know what might be in them.

Certainly don’t buy salmon and broccolini most weeks, it would make a nice meal for a special celebration though.

Hubby and I have changed to 1 good meal a day, the other 2 quite small. We have lost weight and sleep a lot better. This will be a lifestyle for us now, much healthier. We’re also walking a lot. Has helped our budget and our health!

If they are running a business in Australia they need to know the law! People could get very very sick!

I don’t understand why the wheels locked in the article story. Was it because he just had empty bags in the trolley or because he just had a toddler in trolley? I would find that very annoying.

If you shop online and want a refund for something defective, don’t you have to make a trip to the store to take it back?

Not sure how it would benefit their own interests asking for a pause. I’m all for paying less for medicine but don’t like the thought of people losing jobs and pharmacies closing.

Such a shame to see everyday aussies struggling just to make ends meet, what else is going to go up? I’m thinking this is the worst government ever ! So many broken promises. I reckon whoever gets the top job they should have to implement 75% of their election promises. !!

Don’t love all Aldi products but they are definitely cheaper. I don’t buy any groceries from China anywhere! Aldi is my first go to before the others. Coles and Woolworths make huge profits. If they kept their prices lower more people would shop there, win win!

Good one! I’ve been skydiving once strapped to an instructor. He was fooling round a bit till I said I felt sick, then it all became much smoother as we drifted down!
