Could this $25 Kmart item put your health at risk?

All I heard from this "social media personality" whom I never heard of so she must be extremely popular is She waited for this her whole life and she even called it a sun tanning bed.. Really what the hell? I have been extremely lucky that I have not had any of my moles etc turn into something...

Kmart product sparks outrage due to tiny detail that 'tricked' many shoppers

The lamp looks so cute. And I guess some people can get misled but I have never bought a lamp with a globe in it. I have bought lamps as presents in the past and included a globe (house warming presents) but if globes came with lamps then it would be more costly. I might have to have a look in...

Coles insiders leak checkout secret after shopper’s ‘awkward and weird’ experience

I have been lucky with heavy items mind you I usually go to the manned checkout as they just look and check the item and enter the code. But I was shopping with my elderly Aunt and she decided it would be "cool" to try the self serve (mind you I never argue with her she is very feisty) so as we...

Is Robert Irwin renouncing his US citizenship over this shocking Oscar snub?

I am sure he does not have dual citizenship as his father was Australian it is only his mother that is American. Unless the US are different to the rest of the world when it comes to dual citizenship then I am sorry to say Robert you are not American... My late Dad was German but had to become...

Matildas star Sam Kerr starts recovery after undergoing surgery for ACL

It is like with most branches of sports. If a key player or any player injures themselves they are always getting operated on as quick as it is to kick a goal. You only have to see it when an AFL player is injured they usually get preferential treatment.. It's a money thing... I wish Sam the...

Want to clean oven racks faster? The secret is in your laundry room!

I use to run a cafe and when we did roasts for the dinners at times I would take all the oven trays out and put them in the sink either in the cafe kitchen or the bigger kitchen and pour washing powder onto the trays and then fill it up with boiling hot water and leave to soak overnight. When I...

Want to clean oven racks faster? The secret is in your laundry room!

Dryer sheets are small pieces of cloth type material that you throw into the dryer when you are drying your clothes. It apparently reduces static, wrinkles and makes your clothes smell nice and they are expensive... Hope that helped :)

Latest Centrelink boost falls short, Aussies demand more action from the government

You will find it is not Jobseeker it is Youth Allowance that is the difference. I am on Jobseeker and I got the increase last year. Youth Allowance is for under 25, so those on YA and carer and Disability Support payments get it. Either way in my opinion they should have increased it to those...

Latest Centrelink boost falls short, Aussies demand more action from the government

I know this is not included in this increase, but I am on jobseeker I am 63 yrs old (so too young to get aged pension etc) and am renting privately and my rent is going up again by $25 a week in another 2 weeks. I pay now $400 a week which when I get my payments which are over $1000 I am left...

Take a look at this Qantas's aircraft's stunning new design!

Call it what you like but I honestly do not like it. The colours are just off putting, the kangaroo is kind of lost amongst the colours and the darn thing is white. Qantas is known for its red kangaroo. If they wanted something to represent Australia why didn't they ask the people and do a poll...

    The Official Bingo Thread!

This might be a silly question so here goes. How many numbers do you get a day? And does it change every day? And what does the star mean? And I'm either having a brain fog but I'm confused about the game. Thank you all :)

Beloved children's author Shirley Barber passes away at 88

I bought Shirley Barber books when my son was a baby and I use to read them to him every night when he was older and the books were magical. I still have them somewhere and maybe one day when he finds a nice girl and gets married and has children I can read them to my grandkids. Shirley Barber's...

Did a sudden show cancellation push this radio star to tears during a live broadcast?

Did a sudden show cancellation push this radio star to tears during a live broadcast?

I live in Western Australia and I have heard Kyle and Jackie O once in my life and I have to say I do not like them. Kyle is a self centered foul mouthed butthead, Jackie O is repulsive. So as far as I am concerned these 2 think they are radio gods. Melbourne people deserve to have their own...

Are Australian farmers giving their sheep away for ‘free’?

I have eaten sheep of all ages and honestly I do not know why the supermarkets have stopped supplying mutton and hogget. I am a country girl and this is horrendous the cost of lamb products. I have been spoilt as we have lamb etc very often (but I guess that's what happens when your family have...

Kmart’s latest clothing line has everything under $35—don't miss out!

I have to agree with you on that. I honestly don't know who decides what looks good on everyone. I am a tall woman and long pants are most of the time above my ankles or higher but I still try them on to see how they fit, but that usually doesn't work either so I don't bother also the baggy...
