Aussie woman warns about 'buy-now-pay-later' schemes: 'It was a shocking wake-up call'

I have used Afterpay for items such as tyres and battery. But I am very careful in planning my spending so as not to fall into this trap. Don't blame BNPL for your weakness. Don't make it harder for us who manage our spending to be penalised for your bad judgement. BNPL is very handy for...

New legislation cracks down on shoplifting and violence

GREAT. Should do that in all States. This slapping them on the wrist is not working and they need to be held accountable for their actions. I say, bring it in everywhere.

Major retailers face possible breakups following price gouging allegations

I have found ever since Covid Supermarkets think that they can charge consumers exorbitant prices for food. This is not right. They are driving farmers off the land because it is not sustainably worth the time and effort they put in and I can't blame them. Soon we won't have farms and will be...

This baby shower rule is so bizarre, it got a woman kicked out – her confusion will shock you!

A friendship lost over a dress. Is this expectant Mum that sensitive? I say to the dress wearer, good riddance to that friendship. What a joke. I think that something else is the problem. What is the world coming to if a dress can destroy a friendship.

Gold medallist shares alarming truth behind her fear of shopping at ALDI

The easy way to get over the speed of grocery shopping is to have the Aldi bags that clip over the trolley and just bag as they come through. I thought a professional sports player would have nerves of steel to deal with groceries coming at her.

Customer slams Domino's over delivery orders: ‘Won't be getting anytime soon’

If you are getting 3 Pizza's delivered to the same address, why charge for individual pizza's. That's a rip off

Robert Irwin's heartfelt tribute to his late father makes the rounds amid legal drama!

When do we say, No. It's not right to use someone's image without their permission. This is not right. What gives Ms Hanson the right to use Robert Irwin's image just to promote her re-election. Have we no say in our own image being used by unscrupulous people just to get their point across. Use...

Balmain shoppers beef with Woolworths over deli closure and price hike!

We have a Coles store in our town. It closed it's Deli down and started selling pre packaged meats. I now buy my cold meats from IGA as they serve you with fresh cut produce and not meat in plastic containers. I thought we were trying to cut out plastics and yet these supermarkets just add more.

'Cash only': Woolworths sign sparks controversy amid shift to cashless payments

Cash is still KING. Stop trying to change this so you can put more people out of work. Any system that has problems is not safe for a cashless society.

Mum's shocking photo of ALDI mince will make you think twice before buying

I have tried meat from Aldi twice. The Lamb leg and now the lamb chops. Both times the meat was very chewy and not tender at all. I think they sell Hoggart for Lamb to me as it is tough. So not buying anything meat related again.

'Old-school' discipline is back? Parents share thoughts on classroom guidelines

Something has to be done to teach children to respect their elders eg Teachers. They used to say, spare the rod, spoil the child. I don't believe in corporal punishment, but they need to have something to curb their bad behaviour. Maybe take their phones off them might be a start. Teach them bad...

ANZ customers to endure a long commute due to local branch closure

We had the branch of ANZ in Leeton close about 3 years ago. Now we have to travel to Wagga Wagga if we want to have a face to face talk with the Bank. They have our money but treat us like we owe them. Just so fed up with being bullied by banks to give them more profit on our money.
