Is the era of smoking coming to an end with this new legislation? Tobacco industry set for a seismic shift!

I tried vaping in one of my many attempts to quit, thinking it would be a safer, healthier option but still, I didn't like it and when I actually sat down and researched vaping I stopped. I had been vaping for not even a week, and despite the money I'd spent on those products, I immediately went...

Company fined $375,000 for unfairly overcharging Centrelink recipients

This is often the case for me when I'm trying to purchase a used car. Because of my disability pension being my only source of income, most lenders will reject my application based on that alone. The fact I have an excellent credit score and no defaults and could comfortably afford repayments...

Is the era of smoking coming to an end with this new legislation? Tobacco industry set for a seismic shift!

I wish I had been strong enough to NOT continue smoking after a similar event! So much regret and money wasted. But I haven't given up on quitting! It's not the right time for me with my mental health, I have a lot of challenges right now. I once had a psychiatrist tell me NOT to quit! She...

    Scammers increasingly targeting online sellers

My partner and I were talking about Ebay this morning about the postage. Sellers can send the information to Australia Post that the item has been sent, however, that doesn't mean it's physically been dispatched. Just notifying them of a parcel to post

Is the era of smoking coming to an end with this new legislation? Tobacco industry set for a seismic shift!

I'm a smoker. The current images on packaging, etc have done nothing to deter me from smoking. I see it as a waste of government money!

    Scammers increasingly targeting online sellers

I am currently trying to sell a used couch on Facebook Marketplace. Within an hour of putting the ad on, I had 3 people try to use this PayID scam. The email address was from a Gmail account, so it wasn't even a real bank email address! The 4th person, after I changed the ad stating no PayID...

    Help BeBe, will you?

I sympathise with training your husband! My mum used to be shocking, at least she's cut back now as I had a quiet word with the vet to stress the importance of no snacks to her! We do tend to let the senior boys get away with it more. But our 4 year old, it's hard getting through to her dad, my...

    Help BeBe, will you?

L also chicken wing tips from Coles are great for the smaller floofs. Malshis are known to love chicken, but it isn't, as previously stated, the healthiest option. I should have mentioned my 3 are all rescued so as to how they were fed and what, previously, unfortunately we don't know. I...

    Help BeBe, will you?

I feel you! I have 3 Malshis, aged 16, 14 and 4. They are well-known for their painful fussy eating habits. The eldest won't eat pork mince, (we cook their mince and veg meals and freeze them), the 14 year old will only eat if everyone in the house is with him, even then it's debatable! And the...

The Nutbush Phenomenon: Revealing the reasons why Aussies just can't get enough of Tina Turner's classic hit

I remember doing Nutbush at school in Phys Ed, I even remember doing it on roller skates! I was sitting out the front on my balcony in the last schoolholidays watching 3 young girls dancing in their front yard, (it was so cute). They were around the ages of 5, 8 and 12, I'm assuming, but what...

‘It looked legitimate’ – Thousands of Footy fans got tricked by fake AFL tickets in this 'sophisticated scam'

Another thing to watch for on Facebook, check out how long the seller has been a member. Some groups you may want to join, won't let you until your profile is at least 3 months old. This helps them weed out scammers! Just an idea.

Ash Barty shocks interviewer with ‘firm’ answer to question about her baby's gender

Good on her for standing her ground! I understand people wanting to know what gender their baby is before meeting them, so they can prepare with clothes etc. However, if I was to have a child, (46 & no skinkids, only furbabies), I would want to wait. That's one of the best things is finding out...

How freezing cheese could save you money

I remember being torn to shreds by an ex boyfriend who was Sicilian because I had put the shredded pizza cheese in the freezer! Apparently, Italians don't freeze cheese, pineapple on pizza is unforgivable (he then made a Nutella pizza???)and don't get me started on coffee rules of conduct!

The hidden $30 Coles fee that has shoppers fuming - were you aware?

And this is one of the many reasons I won't use click and collect from either Coles or Woolworths! The few times I've attempted to, yes I've given both more than enough chances to get an order right, there's always an error! I find it difficult going to supermarkets due to anxiety and...
