Woolies worker goes the extra mile for deaf couple

How wonderful she is. I guess I had not thought of the difficulties some people encounter especially with the wearing of masks, many people get by with the assistance of lipreading even though they may not be totally deaf, but the masks stop that. I have found myself that a lot of people do...

Delivery mishap leaves Woolworths customer fuming — "I won't be using this service again!"

Could not agree more, I wish someone would drop 27 Woolworth bags at my place, we use them every day for rubbish bags and have been really scratching for bags some days. I refuse to buy them and are truly doing our best to recycle but not at an extra cost.

Great-grandmother’s secret to dealing with fussy toddlers: Doctor approved!

I could not agree more. I never had a problem with my children throwing tantrums, but have too often seen children do this in shopping centres and have wondered if they have just had too much shopping, after all their little legs take so many more steps than we do. So hard to buy into your first home these days, but it always was. Unfortunately you cannot buy a house that is just the basic structure. When we purchased our first home in 1967 we had nothing painted, bare floors, no driveway, no screens, Mum's old curtains at the windows, a second hand...

Home & Garden Rex Quilt Cover Set- Queen Bed $4 @ Kmart

$4.00!! Worth a look. I have previously used quilt covers for various sewing projects. I covered all the foam seats for my grand daughters outside patio setting with two quilt covers, 10 in all. Depending on the quality, quilt covers can make great curtains for the kids rooms. A quilt cover...

Mum saves money on fuel by buying groceries – here’s how!

I don't know if it is just in Logan but the Metro Garages are by far cheaper for fuel than either Woolworths or Coles, especially Coles, even when you take all the discounts into considerations.
