    Salvation Army band

I grew up very close to the Salvation Army Boy's Home in Bexley North. We would hear the band every Sunday as they all marched to Salvation Army Hall in Bexley and back. At Christmas time, the band would play on many street corners in our suburb. Great memory.

    Electric Ceramic Jug

I have two of what was the "two cup version". The element was a coiled wire type and was easily replaced. Good conversation starters. Not game to use them today as I don't know if those elements are still available.

    November Competition: Christmas Memories

My Grandmother, on my Mother's side was a very prim and proper lady. On the other hand, a cousin's husband(Phil) was given to telling somewhat risqué jokes. Christmas Day lunch was always a big deal as Grandma had six kids and they came with other halfs and children and it was nothing for in...

I was never supposed to listen to Yes What as it would teach me bad things. Maybe these violent movies should be put in the same category.

Aussie senator's controversial post about King Charles sends shockwaves through social media

Lydia Thorpe should be removed from Parliament on mental grounds and perjury. I wonder what those who voted for her are thinking. She is certainly mentally disturbed and has incorrectly sworn an oath. Either of these should have her locked up.

Organisation introduces major overhaul to streamline the driver's licence conversion process

This can't come soon enough and being able to understand and speak English should be part of the change. There was a classic case on RBT last night. An Asian man was pulled over for running a red light. The poor copper spent ages trying to make the driver understand what he had done. Now...

I guess I paid some illegal fees when I moved from Queensland in 2017 and had to produce a Marriage and a Birth Certificate to have my licence changed to NSW.
