Unexpected loophole helped one speeding driver avoid $247 fine—could it work for you?

I'm sure that allowing 3 kmh for adjustment wouldn't be anything official, just at the discretion of the police officer that stops you?And only, possibly, in Victoria? In NSW if you go up to 20km/h over the limit, they can advise you they'll write it as up to 10km/h, which saves a bit of money...

Police charge seven in $14 million international investment scam, defrauding 30 Aussies

That's an average of about $467k each..😲 Even if I had that amount I wouldn't mess about putting it all over the place just to get more. Maybe I'm stupid but I'd discuss it with my bank first or a legitimate financial advisor that has offices I can actually visit.

Are You Making This Fatal Dishwasher Mistake? See How a Simple Error Could Set Your Kitchen on Fire!

When I moved in my house the builder had installed some unknown brand which has got a few basic programmes on it. When it's full we put it on about 6/7pm and it's ready by about 9ish although there's no screen on it to tell you what it's doing and the stupid thing never dries properly. I'm...

Are you speeding? This massive change in speed cameras could cost you a fortune!

So NSW is having to play catch up again? 🙄 The UK have had average speed cameras for about 25 years and have about 2,500 of them round the country. The amount of motorways in the state, and drivers going faster than they should on them, they certainly need them.

Palpitating with anger: Customers express disappointment as famous coffee chain goes cashless

I never use cash and will boycott any business that will only take cash. I only use my debit card on my phone all the time as it's much easier and quicker to pay for everything. Maybe I should start a card only bandwagon?:)(y) Card is king!!(y) If someone has about $300 cash on them and it...

Palpitating with anger: Customers express disappointment as famous coffee chain goes cashless

What disgraceful move? It's only going to be 28 shops that RFG own directly. They're a multi million global company. They've got 10 brands in Australia and 600 branches of GJ round the world. And it's a bit nasty wanting a company to go bust and all their staff to be made redundant, which would...

Palpitating with anger: Customers express disappointment as famous coffee chain goes cashless

It's up to the various businesses how they want to run their business and what choice they want to give people to pay. Not what a cash vigilante group demands they do. Thankfully there's a lot of sensible people that don't take any notice of this childish bandwagon.

Palpitating with anger: Customers express disappointment as famous coffee chain goes cashless

RFG are a global company with about 10 different brands in Australia. There are 600 GJ stores world wide. I don't know how many of those might not take cash and if they don't I don't know if people in the various countries involved are just as childish as people here on this silly bandwagon...
