The Shocking Truth About Public Hand-Dryers – Here's Why You Should Avoid Them Forever!

One person on tik tok decides to make some scare story.🙄 If they were so allegedly bad then they would have been banned ages ago and people would have read about it many times. If these are in any public toilets I go in then I use them. Got no reason not to.

Is Bunnings secretly spying on you? Facial recognition scandal exposes privacy breach!

I haven't and I'm not going to put any up. Seems there's no actual law about it, it's just advisable.

Is Your Express Package Actually Being Delivered? See What This Australia Post Driver Did!

Had a couple of good deliveries today. One by van and another by bike. Saw on CCTV later (as I was out) that van man rang the door bell, left the parcel by my front door, took a photo and drove off. Bike man rang the bell, waited 5 seconds, left the parcel and started doing his paperwork and by...

New changes to cash payments aim to support vulnerable Australians better—find out why!

This is a website that has Senior in the title so would assume there are a lot of people of a similar age on here. And some of them may, or may not, know all about digital? At least you managed to type on here which is a start. I've been involved with computers for nearly 30 years so I don't...

New changes to cash payments aim to support vulnerable Australians better—find out why!

You'd have to have a good memory, or keep a receipt, if you wanted to check if there's any fees been charged. You couldn't tell by looking at your statement. And it's very rare I've been charged extra in lots of shops I've been in.

Aussie state's new road rules to include more drivers soon

Must be about 4/5 years now I've had my digital license on my phone in NSW as well as my physical card in my wallet. It's no problem having it at all. Why is there always such a slow roll out of any modern technology in this country? They shouldn't keep taking any notice of a very small...

Australians furious as popular MyGov system crash denies access to essential services

I must be immune to these outages? This is the first I've known about it. I've been on it a few times, before and on, Monday on Medicare and My Health Record to see if something has been updated, but hasn't been. Never had any messages that it wasn't working. 🤔

New changes to cash payments aim to support vulnerable Australians better—find out why!

"We were never taught computers at school or used all this foreign technology of today." Well it has been taught for about the last 25/30 years. So that's a get out clause because no "old people" were taught it before that time? Looks like you want two tiers of people? People that you allege...

New changes to cash payments aim to support vulnerable Australians better—find out why!

And the question is "How do you think this will impact your shopping habits for essentials?" The answer is it won't. I only use the card on my phone all the time. Much easier and quicker. I'm certainly not going to carry around $50/60 of cash to pay for petrol than have the loose change on me...

Hidden road rule could cost you $387—residents' outrage explains why you should care

Another good idea. You see a yellow line you don't park. What's so hard about that? They just need a simple sign to say what times it's for. The whingers better not drive in the UK. There's single and double yellow lines everywhere.😁

Remembering the lives of King Crimson and Céline Dion’s lyricist Peter Sinfield (80) and 'trailblazing' dancer Eileen Kramer (110)

I didn't realise Peter Sinfield was involved in so many well known songs for various people. I'll have to listen to his King Crimson stuff again.

Expert warns about health insurance costs as family gets hit with $9,300 bill: ‘Absolute disgrace’

My wife and I have never had health insurance all the time we've lived here. Don't even know what benefit we would get with it and when I've seen the cost I wouldn't bother with it. We just rely on Medicare. I had a broken bone in my neck a couple of years ago. My doctor sent me straight to...
