Bride lashes out at her grandma for leaking her 'secret' wedding gown photos

Disgusting behaviour from this horrid little Bridezilla! Yes she wanted to keep her choices secret but that is no excuse to abuse the grandmother who had helped her so much.

Sudden price hike on bottled water leads to surprising discovery: ‘I'm being penalised if I recycle at home?’

You are conveniently forgetting that there is a huge sector of the community who do NOT have cars or who are, due to illness, housebound and who have NO access to these facilities. A lot of people also have no recycling centre for bottles with 10km of them currently.

Sudden price hike on bottled water leads to surprising discovery: ‘I'm being penalised if I recycle at home?’

Not everybody has good tap water sadly. Also, I have a CPAP machine and sometimes distilled or demineralised water is hard to get so I need to have bottled water on hand as that is the next best thing (though not as good as the previous two mentioned). You will ruin your humidifier and machine...

Aussies on social media discover 'trick' to resolve Centrelink issues faster

This is exactly my concern as well and I hope people aren't foolish enough to try this as the odds of it being a scam are very high.

Aussies on social media discover 'trick' to resolve Centrelink issues faster

No, it isn't (ex-Centrelinkj employee here) as the contract with external telephone agencies was terminated. Also, the funding given by the government does affect staffing levels, how the department is managed, and how benefits are administered. The years of cuts and neglect by the LNP did have...

Customer's bold prediction about Coles cashless self-service register enrages Sydney shoppers – here's why

That irresponsibility is one of the factors in the increase in grocery prices and is a foolish idea. What do you think happens to any fruit and veg, meat, dairy, refrigerated or frozen items in those trolleys? They are thrown out so not only do you have vile food wastage, but you also have the...

Shopper calls out Coles for quality of new paper bags after mishap

Yes the Woolies ones are far superior to the Coles and Aldi ones. My online order from Woolies comes packed in them and they are very strong.

A Safety Net For Your Pet: Why Knose Pet Insurance Is Worth Your Bottom Dollar

I totally agree ... pet insurance is not as good as people claim it is. They will find any excuse, including the animal being a rescue, to avoid paying out on claims. My biggest gripe with it though is that you have to pay the entire bill upfront and then, upon proof of payment, they will...

Bunnings under fire for its controversial and 'tacky' Christmas decoration

People have too much time on their hands if they are going to find offence in everything. If you don't like it then don't buy it ... simple. These are the same whingers who complain about a lack of Aussie-themed Christmas decorations. How about embracing the spirit of Xmas by being kind and...

The latest move by Coles, Woolworths and Kmart sparked outrage from shoppers

What a vile and wasteful suggestion! You are OK with this blatant waste of food? You are OK with the rest of us paying the price for your tantrum through increased grocery prices to cover the cost of the wastage you and your cohorts have caused? I can understand wanting to push back against...

The latest move by Coles, Woolworths and Kmart sparked outrage from shoppers

Your attitude is one of the reasons grocery price hikes occur ... what do you think happens to any fridge, freezer, deli or fruit and veg items in the trolley you so happily abandon? Yes, they are thrown out and we all pay for those goods by way of increased prices.

How a stranger's gift at Woolworths moved an Aussie pensioner nearly to tears

Absolutely agree! Sadly some people can't or won't recognise random acts of kindness ... it is something we all need to pay more attention to. There are some incredible people out there and I have always said if you can't find a kind person, then be one yourself.

How a stranger's gift at Woolworths moved an Aussie pensioner nearly to tears

How on earth is that disrespectful? Some people will look for offence in anything! The woman identifies as a grandmother and that is just a simple fact.

Aussies grapple with skyrocketing rents as major cities hit record highs

That is great! It is so tough out there right now. I have one of those not-so-great property managers, unfortunately. I have lived here for 23 years and I just copped a $200 a month increase! No maintenance has been done on the property but I am stuck here as no one seems to want to rent to...

Aussies grapple with skyrocketing rents as major cities hit record highs

Agreed! Sadly that is typical of real estate agents though ... the bad far outweighs the good!

Aussies grapple with skyrocketing rents as major cities hit record highs

It certainly is! A friend in Tassie has an investment property and she didn't want to increase the rent as she has a great tenant and wanted to keep them. The real estate agent argued with her and ended up telling her they would charge the commission on the higher rent they were advocating even...

'Take me back!': ALDI receipt from a decade ago leaves thousands in shock

I agree ... they use emotive language to suck in the gullible and they just play games with people.

Group warns against ‘very dangerous trap’ for customers as supermarket adopts Afterpay

Emergencies happen and if you are on a limited income, in the private rental market and not able to squirrel away your pension you will not always have the money on hand. It has NOTHING to do with someon’s spending habits. You may be in a fortunate position but you are not aware of why others...
