Yes, we used to get threatened with the jug cord if we misbehaved, I got it a couple of times and you don't forget it and I can't remember what I had done to deserve it. I remember other kids used to cop the jug cord also.

Mum loved Oroton and had the handbag, wallet, cigarette case and lighter, some earrings and necklace, not worn all at once. I used to love the feel of the mesh and it was quite a fashion statement back in the '70's. I still have a small coin purse.

Looks just like my kitchen sink after doing dishes. I have had the luxury of dishwashers in the past, they do an excellent job but now have to do them myself, as no room in our kitchen to install one. Why do people always take to social media when something like this happens. If it were me I would take it up with the cafe owner as to why they charge $1 to heat the muffin? Anyone can deal with this without having to share it on social media. It's called communication!

I still use a "Park Lane" silver mesh coin purse for my $1 and $2. It belonged to my mother and haven't seen another one, but it is very nice and useful. People have often commented how lovely it is.

You seem to know what your talking about. We had a HT once upon a time followed by a "74 HQ automatic red motor sedan. Dad had a Monaro when they first come out, best car he ever had.

We had a '68 HT which was in perfect condition until it was stolen, rolled and wrote off.

I had a guy next door who used to start his car up at 5am and leave it running for 10 minutes every morning. It was right next to my bedroom window and annoyed me no end. Inconsiderate at that time of day.

I didn't think the HR was a Kingswood. Dad had a HR amongst many others and we had 74? HQ automatic and it was quick off the lights. I love cars and motor racing!
