I'd be interested if the baggies had things like shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mozzie spray , sunscreen etc. Not much interested in overpriced (up to 1000%) make-up and this I know as a girlfriend used to sell make-up. I have my preferred charities I give to.

It's extremely sad. Unfortunately I remember it happening when I was young (73) and my mum spoke of it when she was young. The only difference then was it was not spoken about except in whispers. :cautious:

I'm in two minds, I agree with Dennis but also with AlanQ. We need to know more about the case before judging but my maternal side screams shoot them and my conscience whispers they must have a fair trial. Hopefully we'll hear more of it in the future.

Oh I do celebrate with family. It simply doesn't feel Xmasy, that's all. Believe me I've acclimatised quite nicely. Up here we have Xmas in July when it's cooler.

I've never feared snakes but I have great respect for them. I'm happy if there are snakes about, they keep the vermin at bay and the ridge back snake eats cane toads and other snakes. Very happy to have them around the property but not in the house thanks.

I haven't had an Xmas since I've come here 45 years ago. I could never get used to a hot Xmas having grown up in the northern hemisphere. Mind you I love it! Always warm and always seafood 😋

This is an American recipe, which is fine, I read a lot of those too, but when writing it out I convert to Aussie lingo. It's easier when one of my grandies want a recipe.

I have to agree with those who feel there should be adult only flights. I have to travel to Brisbane every month for treatments. There's nothing worse than unruly noisy kids even on a 2 hr flight. In my mind the parents are to blame for undisciplined children.
