    Not sure where you get that information, a couple with $3.8m would be deemed to earn $83,423. A single with $1.9m would be deemed to earn $41,497. So that's double not "almost the same amount".

    The whole point of a beneficiary is so they do not have to go through the will. You claim the money, they ensure it's the correct person and pay it out. Story doesn't sound right.

    No, last year they were $7.30 all year. In 2022 they were $6.80, in 2021 they were $6.60. Where you get $5.90 I don't know. This government actually reduced the general PBS to $30, it was $40+. The threshold increased this year $15.00 per year, big deal.
