One Aussie truck driver's illegal highway antics raises eyebrows

Mad Max indeed. There's no safe or valid reason to have these spikes. Weird and dangerous! What could possibly be their motive?

Shoppers embrace ALDI's $6.49 cult favourite return—grab yours before it’s gone!

That's the trouble with Aldi. Extremely inconsistent stock and often very limited range. Prices can be very good. It's only saving grace. Quality and nutritional value can be questionable at times. I still buy some things from there. But I enjoy the Woolies experience much more.

Don't think so. Someone with some sophistication and class....and above politics would be nice. The GG is the closest we have.

King Charles delights royal fan with heartfelt birthday surprise

I wish we had the same type of classy, dignified Royalty equivalent here....instead of Albo! 😂

Local state rolls out latest traffic system update to target road rule breakers

Oh please. When you drive through roadworks now and there are speed warning signs, the speedsters don't care, especially the massive trucks. They just continue hooning along. This will be totally ineffective and annoying for law-abiding drivers, as they keep seeing the inconsiderate, dangerous...

ACCC slams Coles and Woolworths over misleading prices and discount schemes

It's been happening for many years. Sudden increases, then reduced on "special". Too many examples to list here.

Are you being overcharged every time at checkouts? This ‘loophole’ is costing Aussies a fortune!

I am experiencing this at more and more retailers. Aldi is the classic one. Low prices PLUS a surcharge. Any notification must be well hidden. There is nothing obvious at the checkout or cash register, in many cases. Some do have signs, to be fair. Not that these charges are fair at all for...

Exclusive reveal: Royal couple allegedly makes stealthy decision without the palace's knowledge

She'd better be careful or the King will rescind the rest of her titles and she will be just a Hollywood "Princess" in actions and attitude alone, not title. Harry may also be penalised if he's not careful.

Australia’s largest franchising company in hot water: Are franchisees getting the short leash?

Oh Jim, that's a bit "ruff" of you. Best stick to lawns, where you can literally "make hay while the sun shines" without any unnecessary controversy 😅

This simple parking mistake cost a driver $283: ‘That’s kind of dangerous’

Fair enough. I see this regularly at my local outside shopping centre car park, where tradie vehicles protrude onto the driveway.

Attention, Aussie drivers! Avoid a $556 fine with this little-known road rule

Good. Get them off their phones. We don't need more accidents, injuries and deaths on our roads.

Beware of the Energy Saving Tip for cutting your electricity bill

You might want to have an electrician check your system. You may be getting billed fimir somebody else's usage. This happened to somebody close to me. She lives in a villa and the unit next door's usage was being charged to her and vice versa

Beware of the Energy Saving Tip for cutting your electricity bill

Often when you buy from overseas the bank charges an international transaction fee. Also, recently I used a credit card to buy some tickets for an overseas lottery, via an Australian lottery company and my bank charged me a cash advance fee plus interest. I thought I could do a credit...

Customers are fuming over this tiny detail on restaurant menu: ‘Don’t dine at this place’

I like to tip individuals personally from time to time, when finances permit, but not establishments. This is an admission that their staff are underpaid, yet they expect maximum service for customers. Talk about screwing the staff. This costs the establishment nothing and as always, the...
